Splish, Splash
Summary: Based off "A Taste of Poison." Lily and Casey have their third fight for the day.
Author's Note: This is my first ever OneShot. Since it's my first OneShot, what better way then to start with Jungle Fury? I hope you like it!
It was a nice day in Ocean Bluff. The sky had opened after the day's events. The Five Fingers of Poison had showed up and reeked havoc. Secretly Lily was falling for Casey and so she took on and defeated Rantipede by herself. Because she went off by herself she was punished by doing all the day's dishes by hand. She and Casey had had their second fight for the day and were about to have their third!
Lily had finished the dishes and was about to go relax her pruned fingers in her favorite spot; the beach.
"Hey, Lil! Where are you headed?" Casey asked running after her before she walked out the door.
"I'm just going to relax at the beach."
"Oh cool. Can I come?"
"Sure. Why not?"
The two departed from the restaurant. From behind the kitchen door, the love struck, blue ranger knew his next move; to follow her.
The tiger and the cheetah arrived at the beach and immediately Lily took off her shoes. She walked over past the rocky part of the sand and sat down on the smooth sand. She wriggled her toes into the sand and let the gentle waves hit her feet. Casey watched as he came behind her and sat down. Lily locked eyes with Casey and smiled. The two looked out onto the ocean, the sun drifted down and the sea swallowed it up.
"Its beautiful here." Casey said, trying to make a conversation.
"I know, that's why I love coming here, just to think sometimes." Lily replied. The cool sea breeze blew over and hit them in the face. The mist felt good on their hot and sweaty skin.
"I know what you mean." Casey added.
The wave curled up beneath their feet, revealing a seashell. Lily picked it up and examined it, "Hey look! It looks like a heart."
"Yeah it does!"
Lily giggled and turned to Casey. Casey stood up and walked closer to the water. He bent down and pointed to a spot in the water, "Hey Look at this, Lil."
"What is it?"
"Don't you see it?" Casey said, pointing at nothing.
"No, I don't see anything."
"Its right there! You don't see it shining?"
"No…."
"Look closer! It's right there!" Lily leaned in closer to the water.
"No closer." Casey said. Lily bent in closer. Casey quickly changed his hand into a cup. He swiftly cupped the water and splashed it right into Lily's face.
"Oh, No, You didn't!" Lily said, wiping her eyes. She put her hands together and dragged a handful of water into Casey's face. They both knew the fight was on!
Splashes were sent back and forth as Lily laughed and squealed. Lily stood up to run away, but the water dragged her down. She lifted her feet higher to get away, but sure enough, Casey was quickly right behind her. He grabbed her arm and pulled her backward until she lost footing and was sent under the water. Casey laughed at the sight of his crush. Lily jumped up for air and her eyes locked on Casey.
"That's it! You asked for it!" Lily and reached for Casey's shoulders. She pulled him under the water and held him there for a few seconds before letting him come up for air.
Their eyes met once again and they leaned into one another. They closed their eyes and their lips pressed together. Casey's hands immediately went to her hips and she lifted her arms around his neck. Casey leaned more on top of her. A wave came and knocked the two off balance. Casey fell on top of Lily. They both came up sputtering water. No sooner did they both burst into laughter.
Theo arrived at the beach the moment their lips locked. His eyes narrowed and his heart sank. He knew Casey was going to accidentally fall out of his hammock tonight.
