My eyes snapped open. All I saw was the bright sunlight from above beaming down on my face. "My eyes they burn. Oh my God… how long had I been knocked out?" Laying there I was thinking how lucky I was to be alive. I could remember being on the freeway, talking to gray about my missing brother. He has been missing for weeks now. We Were on our way to speak to officer Jefferson once again about gathering a search party. To go look for my brother In the area where they found his stranded car. It was under this same freeway we're on now. As we head towards the city. I started clenching my hands tightly together.Just thinking of my brother and what could have happened to him. As I slowly lifted my head up and looked out the side of my window. I could feel every bump in the road. I was drifting off into my thoughts. Until gray cleared his throat and said, "have you gotten any sleep lately?" shifting my head his way, I tried not to lie but I couldn't.Yea I did, ordered me some food and watched TV until my eyes got heavy". smiling just a little bit.He turned and looked at me for a split second. "You know, you don't have to lie to me. If you what to talk about it, I don't mind." I turned my head to look out the front window." I guess you can see right through me, huh?" He took a glance at me once more. "I guess so, I just care about you, joy." I quickly looked down at my hands, they were shaking."I know gray." I looked back up at him but all of a sudden he said, OH MY GOD! before I could really turn my head a big red truck closed in on us. with no warning, it crashed into us. We flipped right off the road we started to Tumbledown a dirt hill. I hit my head on the roof of the car as it turned upside down. my body feeling disoriented, I was drifting in and out of consciousness. we collided with the ground and I was out like a light.
