Rory Mercury strutted down the streets of the Alnus square, twirling her scythe and whistling a merry tune.
She spotted Lelei in a bookstore, engrossed in a novel or magazine. Rory slipped in behind the mage,
peering over the mage's shoulder at the contents that had her attention. Rory snickered, for Lelei was reading a filthy novel.
The teenager's face was a bright red as she skimmed the book, letting out a gasp when one part got really raunchy;
before turning to the next page or chapter. "Getting some ideas, huh?" Rory quirked an eyebrow,
and Lelei squeaked in surprise; shoving the novel back onto the shelf.
Rory chuckled, strutting past the young girl and pulling a magazine from one of the adult racks. "This might be better suited for you."
She tossed the magazine to her, Lelei blushed as the scantily clad woman on the cover stared longingly out at her.
She placed the magazine aside, frowning. "Thank you, Rory Mercury. but I do not need or desire your help."
She strode past Rory, who sighed before calling out after her. "Lelei, is this about Itami?" Lelei froze in her tracks, becoming stiff in an instant.
Rory smirked, she'd hit the jackpot. She strutted up to the fifteen year old mage, stifling a chuckled at Lelei's obvious embarrassment.
"Are you actually trying to be his wife? Are you hoping to impress him and possibly bed him?" Lelei flushed once more,
her head dipping and her bangs hiding her eyes. "Oh, and could it be you're worrying about disappointing him?"
Rory laughed out loud at that, then grinned ferally. "Well, I shouldn't worry. Itami seems to prefer..."
Rory Mercury, Apostle of Emroy, thrust her hips towards Lelei with a smirk on her face. "-more mature women." Lelei cried out in anger, a fist flying towards the Lolita.

The two began trading blows, Rory taking a shot to the gut, Lelei taking a fist to the eye, back and forth they went.
"Why do you even want him, anyway!? You could have your choice of any men, yet you chose the man I married!"
Rory ducked underneath a wild swing, getting behind the young mage and putting her in a full nelson.
"Itami is different! You of all women should know that, Lelei La Lalena!" Lelei grit her teeth and threw her head back,
landing a blow on Rory with a satisfying crack. Rory released the mage, who scrambled away, and angrily cradled her broken nose.
Lelei glared at her, hatred and fear in her eyes. Rory's anger was fading, she saw Lelei was truly afraid of losing Itami to her.
In a moment it was gone, replaced by sorrow and sympathy. "You really do care for him, don't you? Here I thought you marrying
him was just an accident." Lelei's eyes widened, a bright flush gracing the young sorceress' face.
"I can't promise I've given up on him, Lelei." Rory stepped forward, blood dripping from her nose.
"But I can understand why you can't give up on him, either." Rory gazed off into the distance, a bittersweet look on her face.

"You're right, I could have my choice of any of the men here, but Itami is special. He's courageous, a bit dimwitted, caring, and handsome to boot." Lelei slowly nodded in agreement. Rory's melancholic look faded, replaced by a mischievous look. She glanced to Lelei, a smirk on her face.
"Maybe, we could share him?" Lelei frowned, shaking her head. Rory huffed, then shrugged. "Well, it was worth a shot."
She stuck her hand out to Lelei, a grin on her face. "May the best woman win." Lelei firmly shook it, her gaze fierce.

Itami sneezed furiously, then glanced around the mess hall. "Am I coming down with something?" Takeo sat beside him, an eyebrow quirked. "Might just be, sir."
