Ode to Silverstream

A short poem I wrote for a writing challenge in Scorchclan. My first post, ratings are appreciated. It's Rated T because I'm paranoid and there's mention of death I guess.

Ode to Silverstream

Saved him from a roiling river

Cupid's arrow; a love giver

Such a close bond, it makes you shiver

Oh Silverstream, I love you so.

Beside the riverbed she lies,

Cinderpelt can't help, and so she dies,

You can hear poor Graystripes cries,

Oh Silverstream, where did you go?

Two kits are now without their mother,

Sweet Featherkit and Stormkit, her brother.

Graystripe morns, doesn't want to find another.

Oh Silverstream, share what you know.

Off they go to save their clan,

Greystripe caught inside a van,

All part of Starclan's master plan.

Oh Silverstream, do you approve of Crow?

Feathertail joins her mother in the sky,

Making her brother, Stormfur cry,

Gareystripe's family, all will die.

Oh Silverstream, those in Starclan grow.

All together again at last,

The sorrows of that life have all past,

The happines of now is vast

Oh Silverstream, I love you so.
