Letting out a soft little sigh, Harley looked at herself in the mirror; the difference between this suit and the one she had gotten out of store were significant and she liked this one a hell of a lot more. She turned to the side and admired her profile. She loved it; she just hoped Jay liked it too. If he didn't well then she'd have to figure out how to get another suit that looked like the original. She looked more like Harley Quinn rather than Harleen Quinzel, her hat was, well, somewhere and it it's place was her hair tied in pigtails. She felt so free like this, it was something that she hadn't felt since about… her senior year in college before she went to get her PhD, when she had been sleeping with Professor Crane. The feeling this suit gave her, that Joker gave her, was very similar to the rush of being undress in a classroom and told to stay quiet…
She heard the door creak open, and she looked in the mirror to see her Puddin' poke his head in. She saw his big green eyes, the top of his green hair, and his pale skin. It was a bit obvious that it was him, who else was so… gorgeous? Maybe it was just the fact she was completely and utterly smitten with her Puddin', but he was gorgeous in her eyes. And he was so…
"Harley, you little minx… is that new costume for me?" Gentle, nice, amazing; Harley couldn't think of the right word, but she couldn't help but swoon a little bit at his voice. He was so perfect, even if he was wanted in 12 states (or was it 15?) he was her Puddin' and he cared for her. He wouldn't let anyone hurt her, that was right and as he put his arms around her petite little body she couldn't help but giggle.
Just to think, two years ago she had been little Miss perfect, she was a psychologist and she had been interning at Arkham. She was the apple of her parents' eye, not only that but they hadn't thought she could do anything wrong. Of course, the only reason she was even at Arkham to begin with was because she had slept through her teachers to get through college. She had gotten in on a gymnastic scholarship; there wasn't much she could do besides gymnastics and maybe some simple math. Flirting and hugging and staying after class with her teachers got her extra credit, and the classes she had the female teachers in she couldn't do the same thing but she could get some little nerd to hack the computer system in return for her flashing them, or something. That was the only reason Harley had gotten out of college with good grades, the only reason she had managed to make it to Arkham and the only reason she had ever met her Puddin'.
She relaxed in his arms, closing her blue eyes as she listened to Jay breathe in her ear. They had been together for a little less than a year; their year anniversary was going to be in a few days if she was right. She had fallen in love with him during their patient interviews, and well she was pretty sure he had fallen back. "Mistah Jay, doya want me to slip into somethin' more comfortable?" She looked at him, tilting her head back to look at him; he kissed her forehead and smiled. He nuzzled her gently and ran his hands down her sides.
God, she loved him touching her. It was as though he was trying to feel her curves through the costume. He lowered his lips to her ear and whispered, "Take the pig tails down, Harley… I want to see you with your hair down." She felt her stomach flip and her heart skipped a bit and she slowly went to reach up and pull the hair tie loose from her hair, one side was down. She could feel one of his hands go back up her side and he gently caressed her face, cupping her face in his hand. She inhaled sharply, tilting her hand into his palm and taking in the moment. At this moment in time she was his and he was hers. Nothing could be more perfect.
