Back in 1901, in a small town, in the state of Vancouver, there was a woman, who lived in one of the most elegant houses and was a very generous person. This woman was called Amethyst. Amethyst was a medium height woman, who was very skinny. She had fiery red hair, which fell below her waist. She had bright green eyes. Practically cats eyes, and when she was angry they would turn the green of glacier ice. Amethyst was in her early 20's. She had kept nothing from her town except one very crucial fact that if anyone found out she would instantly be killed.
She was a Vampire.
Amethyst had kept this from the town's people because if anyone was found to be a vampire or suspected of being one they were staked in the heart. She was happy in her little town. She had moved from Italy before she was suspected of being a vampire. When she had moved from Italy, she had left everything behind. Her family, her husband Don Corelli, head of the Italian mafia and her 2 children Katharine and Kaleb. Her children were twins, Katharine being born only 5 seconds before Kaleb. But she missed them very badly. She had missed there 16th birthday. She had no idea that they were leaving Italy to move in with her in Vancouver. So you can imagine the surprise she got when they turned up on her doorstep…
…"Ciao mamma." The twins said automatically at the same time when Amethyst opened the door.
"Katharine, Kaleb, cosa stai dong qui?" Amethyst replied
"Siamo stanchi vivono in Italia."
"Mi dispiace ragazzi possiamo parlare inglese per favore?"
"Beh io parlo perfettamente inglese," Kaleb Said, "Katharine non così bene."
"That's good then, because my Italian is very bad"
"Not to worry mother, Katharine's English is very poor"
"Oh." Was all she said
"Anyway, we left Italy and were wondering if we could stay with you?" Kaleb asked
"Well.. yes of course as long as no one finds out that i am a vampire and you two are part vampire." Amethyst told him
"Of course."
