Frostbite was a loyal she-cat of River Clan, but what is loyal about a forbidden love? Well, let's just say...nothing for now. She padded through the shadows towards Fourtrees. Of course she was off to see him...She heard the underbrush rustle. She hissed warningly. A mauve colored tom, one oh too familiar, appeared. Frostbite sat down with a sigh. "What is it this time Wierdeye?" Wierdeye sat down as well. "I'm simply making sure you are not harmed." he mewed. Frostbite was rather annoyed with him lately. "What makes you thinks you can? Besides, I'm purrfectly fine." Emphasizing the 'purr.' Wierdeye stubburnly placed himself in her path. "And where do you think you're going?" "Really Wierdeye, if you like me like you say you do, you would butt out of my life every so often and give me some space to breathe!" she hissed, feeling her fur bristle. Wierdeye, defeated, got up and slunk away hastily. Frostbite chuckled at her master mind and continued onward.

She soon came upon Fourtrees and looked out into the darkness. Two ice blue eyes blinked back at her. It was him. Frostbite caustiously padded out into the open ground. The ice blue eys did the same. Icesprint was his name. Frostbite thought it fit him well. Icesprint broke into a run and they met in the shadows of the forest, bordering Shadow Clan. "I have missed you so!" Icesprint meowed. "And I you." Frostbite replied and they licked affectionately. Icesprint backed away. "We have to be careful...Frigidfur was exiled last week...his secret let out. You know he was seeing a Thunder Clan she-cat. Typical of them." Frostbite mewed, "I know to be careful Icesprint, the thing is, I don't want to be careful." Icesprint stared coldly. "What? If we are caught..." Frostbite finished for him, "If we get caught, we can leave together, we won't have a code to think about anymore." Icesprint remarked, "You would leave your clan that easily?" Frostbite simply replied with a smirk, "I would for you Icesprint. Wouldn't you do the same for me?" Icesprint thought for a moment. How could he even onder over it? "I suppose I would. But I have friends and family in Shadow Clan." "I do too in River Clan, but if they found out they wouldn't spare me a passing glance." Frostbite meowed. Icesprint said, "I don't feel like having kits now. Maybe later, you don't even have the itch, nor do I." Frostbite understood. She noticed the moon's position in the sky. "I should get going. Until we meet again Icesprint..." she mwed. With that both cats turned back towards their clans unsettled.

Frostbite was disturbed that Icesprint might not go with her as willingly as she had hoped. Icesprint was disturbed because Frostbite would forget her life in River Clan so quickly. Was she really that desperate?

Wierdeye pounced out of his hiding spot. "Wierdeye, you followed me? How much did you hear?" Wierdeye looked hurt. "You are breaking the Warrior Code...how could you?" Frostbite suddenly felt guilty. "Wierdeye...love works in mysterious ways..." Wierdeye sighed, "I won't tell, just don't do anything stupid. Like you haven't already." He turned and padded slowly back towards camp. Frostbite uneasily followed. She had been reckless with her meeting.
