Prologue
"Link," Eilia called, not remembering he had already left. It had been one week since Link left. The one person he told was Eilia. He didn't tell her where he was going or what he was doing because he didn't want to worry her, just that he had some unfinished business, and that he would not come back until it was finished. She walked out side and saw her father (the mayor) and Russell talking, she wanted to hear what was going on so she stepped back inside and left the door open just a crack.
"Russell, you can't be serious, I thought we had made them retreat out of the village for good this time?" The mayor asked sounding nervous.
"Yes, I know, some how they got through the gates we secured." Russell said not wanting to get thumped in the face.
"We need to some how force them back through the gates and secure them even stronger, but with Link gone, it almost seems impossible to stop them." The mayor slammed his fists down on the table.
"Maybe, I could round up some gorons from Kakiriko and we could force them back through the gates." Russell offered.
"No, I can't let you get hurt, epically with your new boy born." the mayor remembered the last time Russell fought the goblins.
"Fine, I'll stay, on one condition, let me set up a small fortress inside the city so when the goblins attack we have some type of protection." Russell demanded. "I would hate to have my family harmed, I don't think you would like that to happen to your daughter" Russell glanced over at Eilia standing in the doorway.
"Ahhh, I am sooo tired." She said with a yawn as she went to sit on a rock at the river's edge.
"She really does miss Link doesn't she." Russell whispered to the mayor.
The mayor nodded, "Yes, I really think she does."
