3.28 meters too far away from you.
Kurt stood there, paralyzed; rooted to the spot. He would never know whatever possessed him to stand at that exact spot that day, in McKinley highs car park, looking so utterly lost and confused (even though he'd parked there for a good part of the past four years) With rain cascading down him, soaking his 150$, navy blue, Alexander McQueen jacket. Staring at the boy of his dreams; staring as if he'd sprouted seven extra heads, transfigured into a fully functioning, walking talking, 'I'm a little teapot' singing Polka dotted tea pot. Staring unblinkingly as if Finn Hudson had-
Confessed his undying love.
If you ever ask Finn Hudson what possessed him to stand in McKinley's car park that day, unblinkingly, he would bark out a laugh and say he would put it down to instinct; he knew exactly what he was doing... he had complete control of the situation. 100%. Well... maybe 65%. On the other hand if you'd asked Kurt Hummel what ever possessed his boyfriend of two years to stand there all hair mussed and gormless, he too would laugh. He however, would have put it down to stupidity.
But that trait was one of the things he found so alluring and adorable about the taller teen, answering the small pout that had made its way onto his boyfriends' lips, placing a chaste kiss in its place.
What Finn Hudson did have a grasp of in his brain however, was that he was 100% absolutely, undeniably, irreversibly in love with Kurt Hummel. Not 65% nor 87 or 99%, 100. Every fiber of his being, mind and soul yearned to be with the boy stood precisely 3.28 meters in front of him. 3.28 meters too far; an endless sea of space and car park concrete between him and that spot lay before him...
Etched; Sewn into his heart was a name. Just one. No, not Quinn, Rachel or that girl he dated in fourth grade- Betty? Suzie? Price... Pepper? - Or whatever. No, the person, whose name was etched into Finn Hudson's' heart was...
Exactly 3.28 meters in front of him.
Still 3.28 meters in front of him.
Why still 3.28 meters in front of him?
Finn Hudson decided that there wasn't ever going to be a suitable answer to that question, which is why he crossed that sea of concrete and decidedly thought that kissing a one Kurt Hummel senseless was a much better option than pondering that question.
Really, 3.28 meters was too far away.
A/N *hides in shame* that was.. well.. lemme know XD x
reviews are love ;) x
