Okay I know I need to update The Vampire and the Werewolf AND the deaths of Lost but this randomly came into my head at about 1:00 in the morning.

Charlie lay on the beach listening to the talk of the other survivors, he looks over at the object of his thoughts Claire. As Charlie thinks of them he thinks of how she does not deserve to be trapped on this island. Charlie at that moment vows to himself.

Charlie looked down upon Ethan; this was the man who took Claire, the woman he loved.
He had taken her and tried to hang him. The gun weighed heavy in Charlie's hand but his mind was clouded with rage.

6 shots rang out through the jungle and the other survivors looked at him shocked. The rain was pouring down obscuring his vision and mixing with the tears in his eyes, he had shot someone, even if it was Ethan.
He did this for Claire but still he didn't feel like anybody and vowed once again to be somebody for her.

Charlie stared down at the controls, he had done it, he saved everyone, he saved Claire. He looked down at the screen where there was now a woman on the intercom, Penny Widmore. He asked about Naomi and the freighter that was going to take them all home but she hadn't heard of her.
Then Charlie came to the realisation It wasn't her boat. Fear went through him who had he just allowed to come to the island if not her. He turned to the port-hole and saw Mikhail with a grenade; he turned again to see Desmond running towards the door. Accepting his fate Charlie sealed the door as the grenade blew the window and water rushed in. Charlie took the marker from his pocket to write one last message to Desmond on his hand. Not Penny's Boat
He dived down and placed his hand on the window nodding sorrowfully at Desmond. Charlie then took his last breath and thought of the woman he did this for Claire, his final thought was,
