Re:Zero: One Punch Knight

Chapter 1 Remastered
Genos stood on guard waiting for any signs of hostility from these Human-Monster hybrids that surrounded them in all directions.
Meanwhile, Saitama calmly glanced left and right observing every detail this setting had to offer. "Genos..."
The Demon Cyborg glanced at his Sensei while retaining his guard. "Yes, master?"
"How did we find ourselves in a furry Con?" He asked.
Re:Zero-One Punch Knight
This setting was surely shocking for anyone witnessing it for the first time. Both heroes found themselves next to a water fountain in a medieval plaza crowded with both humans and what Genos assumed to be monsters co-existing together.
Yet, what baffled the cyborg to no end was the fact that these monsters were miraculously co-existing along with regular humans without demonstrating any signs of hostility whatsoever.
Saitama tapped Genos' shoulder. "Yo, does the Hero Association know of this place?" Asked Saitama.
Without losing his guard, Genos scanned his database for any information on this setting. "I'll search for a clue..."
Saitama waited patiently just how he would normally wait for an app to download on his Z phone. (Sponsered by King)
Saitama then noticed Genos seemed to have found something.
"So? Anything?" Asked Saitama.
Genos finally let his guard down to focus on his sensei. "The genius doctor recorded data corresponding to every city in the supercontinent... However, I couldn't find this city in my database." Genos sternly said. "Especially a city where humans and monsters co-exist together." He added with disgust present in his voice.
"Well, that sucks." Said Saitama while still observing the fantasy setting. "Then why don't we do the hero association a favor and-"
"Hey!" A random voice caught both Genos' and Saitama's attention. "Who're you calling a monster!?"
Both heroes noticed a humanoid hippopotamus wearing clothes similar to how any civilized human would. And the Hippo-Human seemed to be angrily approaching the two of them.
The Humanoid beast stood 4 feet taller than Genos and glared angrily at the Demon Cyborg.
The Hippo-Human glared at Genos while he glared back at the hippo.
The Hippo spoke in an irritated accent. "It seems you entitled normies have already forgotten about the Demi-human War that caused us all so much pain and sorrow!"
"Demi-Human war?" Genos asked.
"Yeah! And you normies started it!" The Hippo complained.
Saitama scratched his ear. "We have no idea what you're talking about." He said, unintentionally offending the Hippo-human.
A crowd slowly formed around both heroes and the offended Beast Human.
The Hippo-Human then stood in front of Saitama, it's big snout puffed hot air onto Saitama's face causing the hero to cover his nose in disgust.
"Ew." Saitama tried his best not to barf on Genos by accident.
"Seems like we have a comedian here. Well, I wouldn't mind starting another Demi-Human War on you! What do you think?" The Beast Human asked with threat present in his accent.
"I think you should wash your mouth. It stinks really bad." Said Saitama without any malice yet still managed to anger the Beast Human pouting in front of him.
"That's it! I'm chewing your head off!" The Beast Human opened his mouth as wide as he could and was moments away from biting Saitama's head just as Saitama was moments away from punching the Hippo.
"Stop!" A knight with black hair wearing standard armor quickly closed the gap between Saitama and the Hippo just in time before any fighting could break out.
Saitama slowly retracted his fist to himself while the Hippo-Human backed away from the Knight in armor.
"Fuckers..." The Hippo-Human angrily stomped away from these ignorant humans, for he shall get his revenge sometime later.
Simultaneously the crowd slowly dispersed as if nothing had happened.
After the Hippo-Human vacated from the vicinity, the Knight lightly punched Saitama on the shoulder with the intention to warn him. "You're lucky I happened to be nearby! Otherwise, I would have had to deal with another murderer!" He sternly said to Saitama who seemed to not care at all.
The knight then glanced at Genos with the intention of warning him too but the Demon Cyborg was shrouded in killer intent. This Cyborg carried an aura that screamed danger! The cyborg's metal limbs added to the scary appearance.
Especially those eyes! Those golden eyes screamed death and torture. The way Genos looked at him almost caused the knight to shit bricks.
The knight wasn't too sure if it was a good idea to be rough towards this strange man.
"A-and, you should be careful too. Try... try not to offend anyone... Please..." After an awkward silence, the knight bowed in an apologetic manner and swiftly walked away as if his life had been recently spared by the devil himself.
To the knight's horror, someone grabbed his shoulder thus stopping him in his tracks.
The knight nervously turned around and noticed the caped baldy behind him.
"What do you want?!" The knight smacked away Saitama's hand in irritation. How dare this bald idiot scare me like that!
"Yo, what is this place? We're lost and are in need of directions."
The knight awkwardly blinked at Saitama. Is this idiot for real?
Genos approached the knight with a deadly serious expression. "Don't waste our time and be quick. 20 words or less."
The knight nodded as his life depended on it! "You both are in the Kingdom of Luguni-"
"Wait!" Saitama interrupted. "I'ma have to stop you right there."
"Did you just say kingdom?" Asked Saitama.
If the scary cyborg wasn't breathing on his neck, the knight would have smacked Saitama by now.
"Y-yes. You're in the kingdom of Lugunica." The Knight nervously said.
Saitama then glanced at Genos. "Aw man! I thought you said we weren't in a Furry Con."
Genos bowed his head. "My apologies, Master. I shall search for a satellite signal to verify our location."
'Furry-what? Satellite? What is that?... Satella?!' The knight thought to himself.
Saitama then returned his attention to the knight. "Okay, thanks for your help, man."
"Sure. Whenever you need me." 'Please, I don't want to see you ever again!' The knight then dashed away much to the surprise of the bystanders.
Saitama then humorously glanced at his disciple. "Wow, try not to scare people next time."
"Of course, but take no heed to that now. For it seems that these..." Genos tried to prevent himself from saying the word Monster again. "Demi-humans." He corrected himself. "The Demi-Humans happen to be legal citizens of this city." He said with disgust still present in his voice.
"What do you mean? Aren't we in a furry con?"
"Negative. I have no access to any satellites meaning we are both stranded in an unknown location."
"Really?"
"Affirmative. And to add to my speculation. These Demi-Humans seem to be legitimate. I detect that their animal appendages are indeed alive."
Saitama pondered on these words for a moment. "Then, does this mean we aren't in a Furry Con?" Saitama asked in relief, not knowing that he'd be better off in a furry con.
"I am unaware of the term Furry Con, but I believe we aren't."
"Oh. Thank goodness." Saitama said in relief.
Little did Saitama and Genos know, they were far away from Z city...
[X] [X] [X]
This was certainly a vexing scenario for Saitama wished to partake in a bargain sale, yet his currency wasn't good enough.
Despite being stranded in possibly another dimension, this alone managed to crush Saitama's spirit.
Genos attempted to console his sensei. "Don't be put down by this, master."
"No, I can't take it anymore. What's the point of living when I can't even afford an 80% off deal?" Complained Saitama. "Who cares if we're stuck in this fantasy world. If we cannot even perform the simple things in life, then how will we take on serious tasks?"
Genos' eyes widened. Somehow he found these words to be useful so he pulled out a small notebook and furiously wrote as much as he could causing Saitama to sweatdrop.
"Can you leave?" The storekeeper asked. "You're holding up the line you know."
Saitama and Genos looked behind them to see an irritated crowd of people waiting in line. Both heroes then exited the establishment as they were told to do so.
As they traversed into the crowds of mixed human species, both heroes conversed with each other.
"I can't believe my money's useless." Scoffed Saitama. "I thought all money was good."
Genos pondered on these words. "It's indeed strange. Normally everyone would use the same currency while living within the supercontinent."
"You think we got trapped in one of those anime's from the TV?" Asked Saitama.
"That would be highly unrealistic." Said Genos, trying as hard as could to take Saitama's words seriously.
"You're right, we're just wasting time here." Saitama sighed. "We should just go home."
"Well said, master. Shall we venture the city to find an exit?" Asked Genos.
"Sure, I'll be right behind you."
Genos was first to leap high into the air and descended onto the rooftops while Saitama shortly followed after.
Many bystanders noticed the two beings leaping from roof to roof.
A child pointed a finger to the two unknown heroes jumping over houses and commercial buildings. "Look, mommy!"
The two beings had vanished long before the mother could notice. "What is it, sweetie? A bird?"
Saitama and Genos had caught the attention of the natives, although the two heroes appeared as blurs meaning not a single person could identify who they were.
While in Midair Saitama asked "So, how does this work? Are we gonna find a satellite signal or something?"
"That would indeed be an excellent idea. However, I have coverage over the entire planet. The Doctor could easily track down my coordinates even if I were to be lost at the ocean."
"If that's the case then maybe your signal is broken."
"!" Genos seemed shocked upon hearing this.
"Don't make that panicked face or I might panic as well." Said Saitama with his bored expression still present.
Genos regained his composure. "Then we shall wait and see."
Saitama spotted a glimpse of a silver-haired girl chasing a blond girl past an alleyway. "Hold on, stop." Said Saitama.
Both heroes then descended onto a rooftop. "Master, what do you propose we do?" Asked Genos.
Saitama dismissed what he saw as unimportant. "Nevermind. It's just some girls playing tag."
Genos noticed what appeared to be an Elf chasing a blond girl past crowds of people and mixed races.
"Those children are foolish to be playing in the streets, they could become lost." Said Genos. "Shall we do something?"
"They'll be fine. I'm sure their parents will find em. Let us keep going, Genos."
"Of course!"
Both heroes then continued their fruitless search for home.
If they had stayed long enough, they would have noticed that this wasn't a childish game of tag but was the scene of a crime.
The blond girl swiftly ran as her life depended on it. She mustn't allow the Half-Devil to catch up with her. Who knows what she would do to her.
And why did her target have too much of a resemblance to the Witch of Envy!? The girl tried to dismiss her panic and put on a smile for she shall be getting paid in the end.
"Stop that thief!" Her pursuer shouted in disdain though much to the thief's delight people ignored the pleas of the elf due to the long-lasting discrimination against her heritage.
Seeing that nobody would listen, the elf took desperate measures against the thief and attacked using long-range ice-projectile magic.
The projectiles near-missed the thief several times. That was too close for comfort, though it made the adrenaline rush through her veins.
[X] [X] [X]
Hours have passed as both heroes found themselves in the outer layers of the capital.
Genos scanned beyond the vicinity for any life forms and found there to be few, meaning they were indeed far away from home.
"Is... is this it?" Asked Saitama. "Where're the other cities? Shouldn't there be skyscrapers in the distance?"
Genos crossed his arms. "The majority of life forms reside from where we previously came from. I do not detect much activity far beyond this radius." Said Genos. "There are life forms beyond this radius, though they reside far away in the countryside."
"Countryside?" For a brief moment, Saitama seemed to have lost all hope but he dismissed that negative feeling. "Well, that won't stop us from finding a home now will it?" Asked Saitama.
"Of course. It will take more than long walks to stop us."
As if on cue, Saitama's stomach ached with hunger. He then rubbed his stomach in sadness. "Man, I could go for some seafood to be honest."
Genos seemed almost surprised as if he forgot his master still had biological functions. Genos tends to forget his master is human after witnessing Saitama's power so many times.
"I forgot of your biological limitations, master. Shall I find something for you to eat?"
"No. Unless you have money, you'll just be wasting your time."
"Of course. You're very wise."
"Or maybe we could cannibalize a Demi-Human? What do you think, Genos?"
Genos dropped all respect he previously had to question Saitama's choice of words just now.
Trying hard to take Saitama seriously Genos replied "For once, I will disagree with you, Master. The authorities may want our heads. So please refrain from eating a Demi-Human."
"Ah, you're correct! I was just testing if you'd ignorantly follow my requests even when unreasonable." Said Saitama, trying to sound like a good teacher. "Remember, being biased towards someone just because of their accomplishments isn't always the right thing to do."
Genos eyes widened as he pulled out a notebook and pencil to write everything down causing Saitama to sigh in relief. "Then does this mean I should be careful of not only what others say but what you say as well?"
"Y-yeah. That's right. I'm glad you could understand." Said Saitama nervously.
Genos scribbled many words onto his notebook. "Master, you're always so wise."
Saitama nervously chuckled. 'Man, I really liked the idea of cooking that Hippo person.' Thought Saitama.
The caped baldy decided to ignore his hunger for the time being. "I guess I'll have to fast for the rest of the day. Much like those times, I would avoid eating in order to afford my rent." Said Saitama.
Genos returned the notebook into his pocket. "Excellent idea, however, we should eventually gather the time to obtain food for you." 'Master is always humble. He could have used his strength to forcefully obtain anything he desires, but instead selflessly thinks of others.'
"Let's keep going Genos, we might eventually find Z city."
"Yes, master."
As both heroes traversed the towns, Genos heard what he assumed to be trouble.
Aggressive voices echoed behind several blocks and Genos knew it to belong to either robbers or men who're looking for trouble.
"Master."
"hm? What's on your mind, Genos?"
"There's trouble nearby."
"Really?" Saitama looked left and right and observed some bystanders who were minding their own business, yet there was no trouble in the vicinity. The setting remained relatively the same. People were going on about their days as normal in the background just as before. "Are you seeing something I'm not?" Asked Saitama.
"I sensed the disturbance not too far away. Follow me." Urged Genos as he began sprinting toward the crime scene.
"Oh, right." Saitama shortly followed after.
[X] [X] [X]
At the scene of the crime there stood three familiar hoodlums tossing rocks into private property, shattering windows in the process.
[Chin, a slim young man with multi-colored hair]
[Kan, a small dwarf with brown mushroom hair and large black eyes]
[Ton, a large man with purple hair and eyes]
"Is this even the right place?" Asked Kan. "What if this is the wrong house?"
"I swear, that's where the traitor lives." Complained Chin. "That coward ditched us and told some knights about our stunts. Then they put restraining orders on us!"
Though there were few people in the neighborhood, many witnesses walked by then fled the scene as quickly as they could to avoid trouble.
"Guys, there were too many witnesses. We should bail." Warned Kan.
Ton didn't seem too worried as he cracked his knuckles. "Let's not worry about the consequences and just let off some steam." As soon as Ton finished his dialogue, a girl peeked from the shattered windows then retreated into hiding as soon as she was discovered.
Kan pointed a finger to where he saw the girl hiding. "She's actually here! Let's get her!"
Chin smirked. "Ya see? You didn't have to doubt me."
Ton lifted a wooden plank. "Why don't we have fun with her first?" He asked. "It's about time she gets what coming after she ditched us."
As they were moments away from breaking into the home, Saitama and Genos happened to arrive in front of them.
"Who's-" Kan was then interrupted by Saitama.
"You meant these guys?" Saitama asked Genos. "Didn't some kid with silver hair run past these guys as she played tag with a blond kid?"
'Blond kid?' Ton recognized who they meant. "Are you talking about Felt?" Asked Ton but was ignored by the newcomers.
"I made no mistake. The disturbance was caused by those three." Confirmed Genos to Saitama.
Saitama observed the three hoodlums as they blankly stared right back at him and Genos.
'Are they here to stop us?' Thought Chin as he slowly pulled out two kukri blades. This action caused Genos to stand guard, though Saitama remained calm and erect.
Ton observed Saitama and Genos to find any weaknesses. 'That baldy looks pretty weak, but I'm worried about the blond guy wearing a shirt over his armor.' He thought, tightening the grip on his blunt weapon. He confused Genos' actual body parts to be armor for some reason.
'Hah. It's three of us versus two of them.' Thought Kan. He then unsheathed out his own dagger.
Saitama decided to break the silence. "Hey! Isn't the destruction of property illegal?" He asked. Asking the obvious unnerved the three hoodlums.
Saitama continued. "I'm sure you three are doing this for a reason."
"So what?! Mind your own business!" Shouted Kan.
Ton stepped forth and towered over Saitama's height. "Yeah, little man. So grab your buddy and take a hike." He said, holding the wooden plank over Saitama's head.
Kan smirked in response. "Hey Ton, crack that baldy's head for me. I want to see if a baby bird comes crawling out of him. Haha!"
A tick mark appeared over Saitama's head and he slightly bit his lip.
Genos heard the negative comment toward his master and glared daggers at the dwarf almost causing Kan to shit bricks.
"2 seconds in and you're already a hazard to my health." Replied Saitama with slight irritation.
Chin smirked. "Speaking of health, aren't you too young to be bald?" Asked Chin.
Saitama winced in in annoyance and pointed a finger at his offender. "WHY's my baldness the first thing you mention!?"
"Ya know." Ton chimed in. "There's a cheap product meant for recovering lost hair." Said Ton.
This caught Saitama's interest allowing him to momentarily calm down. "There is? Where can I find it?" Asked Saitama. "It's not a scam product that promises results but leaves you with shattered dreams, is it?"
Ton chuckled in a mocking tone. "Heck, wouldn't you like to know?" He said in a mocking voice.
Genos then gave Ton a death-stare causing Ton's legs to suddenly feel weak. "I-It's a cosmetic found in Vollakia, but that's too far away." He accidentally said in an attempt to avoid Genos' death-stare.
"Vollakia?" Asked Saitama. For a brief moment he felt hope, then suddenly he became offended again. "Wait, who said I disliked being bald!?" He raised his fist in disdain. "I'm perfectly fine, thank you very much!"
Ton glanced humorously at the caped baldy. "You seemed happy for a second there, I'll bet you dislike being bald." Said Ton.
"No way. Why the hell are we talking about hair products in the first place?" Asked Saitama.
"Shut up, Punk! You should start off by explaining why the hell you're blocking our path!" Exclaimed Chin, almost ready to pounce if the two newcomers didn't leave.
Genos stepped forth causing Ton and Chin to retreat few steps backward. "We're here to stop you. If you continue to destroy property, we'll show you true pain."
"Hah!" Chin laughed. "Says the coward wearing armor. I'll bet you'd be shaking in your boots if you weren't wearing anything."
Genos raised an eyebrow. "Is that what you believe?" He asked.
The Cyborg used his right arm to detach the left arm to demonstrate his limbs were indeed made of metal. The three hoodlums were dumbstruck.
"Are you even human?!" Kan screamed.
"No." Said Genos.
The hoodlums didn't wish to express their nervousness so they continued showing a tough facade.
"So what?!" Exclaimed Kan. "We'll take you on!"
"Yeah!" Ton chimed in. "You don't scare us!"
"We'll make you beg for death if you mess with us!" Finished Chin.
The three hoodlums were moments away from marching to their demise until a female voice caught everyone's attention.
"Please, wait!"
All eyes fell onto a Silver-Haired girl dressed in white and purple attire. "I cannot allow you to attack two unarmed individuals." She said to the three hoodlums in confidence.
Saitama recognized this girl from not too long ago. "Oh? Didn't she-" Saitama then briefly noticed her pointy ears! "ELF EARS!" He pointed his finger at her without taking into consideration that it would be rude.
In response, the silver-haired girl avoided eye contact with Saitama due to having her feelings hurt.
"Half..." She nervously replied.
"What was that?" Saitama leaned his right ear closer to her.
"Half-Elf." She corrected herself and seemed irritated by Saitama's presence already.
The three hoodlums seemed to have been startled upon having heard Half-Elf.
"We're not scared of a girl!" Shouted Kan. "Even if she's an elf!"
"I don't know guys, I assume she's good with magic." Warned Ton.
Without worry, Chin smirked. "Are we forgetting something?" He raised his hand and formed a fireball. "I can use magic too."
Ton and Kan seemed to have regained their confidence upon realizing their ally could use fire. They then glanced at the elf to see what she could do to counter them.
"Beat that!" Boasted Kan. "Now we're evenly matched since it's three vs three." Said Kan.
A disembodied voice then echoed in the vicinity. "Make that three vs four!"
Everyone tried searching for the source of the voice, although Genos wasn't surprised at all having already detected a small creature hiding behind the elf.
A floating cat suddenly appeared from the elf's hair. "Puck, at your service! The odds are now against you!" The small cat floated proudly like a superhero.
Kan fell flat on his bottom in response. "A spirit!?"
"Shoot it!" Cried Ton.
Chin hurled the fireball toward Puck. But before the cat could form an ice barrier to protect everyone, Saitama smacked the dangerous fireball toward the sky with ease.
"!" Puck deadpanned. 'How did-'
"!" The elf was shocked at the sight.
"!" Chin sweatdropped.
"!" Kan's jaw dropped.
"!" Ton dropped his blunt weapon.
Several seconds later, the flaming projectile detonated in the sky with enough potential to destroy an entire house. The shockwave was only strong enough to give Saitama and Genos a nice warm refreshing breeze of air but forced the bystanders into a struggle to maintain their balance.
Puck had trouble staying afloat in the air as he was blown onto the ground, the elf covered her skirt to retain her decency while the three hoodlums fell onto their backsides.
Chin mentally panicked. 'Shit! The knights might have seen that!'
The wind passed away allowing everyone to regain their senses and focus on each other.
"That was close." Saitama grinned. "Somebody could have gotten hurt."
Chin was awestruck. "How did... how did you do that?!" Asked Chin.
Suddenly the demon cyborg's limbs began to radiate energy catching everyone's attention. "Now, will you still fight?" He asked.
The Elf covered her eyes as Genos became too shiny for her eyes to see. She even stepped away to avoid the constant emanating heat. Puck also retreated behind the elf throughout the process.
The lights dimmed down allowing everyone to stare at the blond cyborg and the caped baldy.
"Wh-what are they?" The elf asked nobody in particular.
"Turns out they can handle themselves just fine." Added Puck.
"Forget this." Said Kan. "Let's bail!" He was the first to cower away from the vicinity then his buddies soon followed after.
"Wait up!"
"I'm not getting arrested today!"
The two heroes watched as the hoodlums vacated from the vicinity. Briefly, Saitama noticed a person hiding inside the vandalized property. It happened to be a girl with orange hair but that's all he noticed of her. She seemed unhurt so that's good right?
"That took longer than I thought it would." Said Saitama, now turning to face the silver-haired girl, startling her in the process. "Okay kid. Where're your parents?" Asked Saitama.
"Kid?" The elf is like over 100 hundred years old if anything the baldy is a kid compared to her.
The elf awkwardly glanced away from Saitama not knowing what to say in response. "Well..."
The cat spirit suddenly flew several circles around Saitama's head much to his annoyance.
"Stop that!" He attempted to capture the cat much like he would catch a mosquito but Puck dodged with ease much to Saitama's annoyance.
The Cat finally stopped in front of him showing a cheeky grin to Saitama. "Soo... You're looking for her parent?" Asked Puck.
Saitama wasn't going to easily forgive Puck, but regained his cool. "That's right, it's best that kid isn't alone in-"
"I'm the Parent." Puck interrupted.
The elf seemed somewhat entertained watching the exchange between her contracted spirit and this stranger who somehow isn't afraid of Puck.
Saitama deadpanned. "... No. No, you're not. I'm being serious. Kids shouldn't be out in the open without-"
"I'm being serious too." The cat interrupted again. "Believe what you want. I am the father."
"... Okay sure. You can play house if you want." Saitama disbelieved the floating cat. "Now where's the parent?"
The cat sarcastically frowned at Saitama'ss ignorance. "You're awfully persistent. She's my daughter and you can't change that."
Saitama grew a tick mark on his forehead. "Quit playing around, cat!"
The elf had enough then stood between Saitama and Puck. "It's okay, both of you." The cat spirit then retreated onto her hands. "It may seem hard to believe, but Puck is my foster parent."
Saitama still found that hard to believe. "... Okay."
She then glanced at Genos. "Both of you are indeed strange." She added. "How come Puck doesn't frighten you?" She asked in curiosity.
"We've seen stranger things." Commented Genos. "A talking cat is the least of our worries."
"Soo, where's the other kid?" Asked Saitama.
"?" She blankly stared at them in response. "Who?"
"The blond girl. Is she a friend of yours?"
"Friend?!" She scoffed back, much to their surprise. "She stole something I held dearly important!" The elf set her foot down in disdain.
"Hm, I understand now. A thief has wronged you." Added Genos.
The elf seemed in a hurry now. "Let us leave, Puck. We're running out of time."
"Sure thing." Agreed Puck. Her spirit retreated into the elf's hair as she walked away.
Saitama briefly followed her. "Hold on a second!"
The elf became startled then nervously stood on guard. "What do you want?" She asked.
"Relax." Saitama raised both hands signaling he won't do any harm. "We're professional heroes, we can help you out."
"H-heroes?" She disagreed with his statement after closely observing Saitama and Genos' appearance. The only true heroes are the Knights of Lugunica, the generations of Master swordsmen, and the sword demon himself!
To her eyes, Saitama's egg-head and his attire made him seem more like a child predator than anything resembling a hero. And as for Genos, his badass appearance made him seem like a dangerous delinquent. Who would ever trust the two of them?
Saitama noticed the doubt in her expression. "Both of us recognize your thief. If we ever find her-"
"I must decline your offer." She sternly interrupted Saitama. "I don't need your help. And even if you still decide to help me, I shall not repay you." It has been made very clear that she wants nothing to do with Saitama and Genos.
Though this didn't deter Saitama. "That's fine, we'll help you either way. After all, a hero doesn't go around demanding compensation. We honestly won't ask for anything in return." He finished.
Having heard this from Saitama, the elf now took him somewhat seriously.
Saitama continued. "You'll go your separate ways and we'll go ours. And if we find this thief of yours, we'll apprehend her and call the authorities." Saitama then gestured a handshake. "Sound good?" He asked.
The elf seemed too hesitant to accept his handshake. The cat noticed this and decided to reassure her.
"It's okay. I don't sense any malice in him. We can trust them for now." Said Puck. 'Though I cannot sense anything from his blond friend. Is he even alive?' Thought Puck as he searched for Genos' life source.
"..." The elf avoided eye contact with Saitama for a brief moment and lightly blushed. "Sure."
They shook hands. Both heroes finally allowed the elf to leave in peace.
"That's the weirdest pet cat I've ever seen." Commented Saitama.
"Let us resume our travels as well." Said Genos.
"True that."

Loot House (Slums, late afternoon)
A private transaction was in process. Two females were seated in front of each other. A wooden table and a tall strong senior citizen were the only things dividing the two of them.
The senior citizen overlooked the transaction just as he had done many times in the past, always making sure no harm comes to the only friend he has.
"How much are you willing to pay?" Asked Felt.
The customer pulled out a small pouch then poured the contents onto the table.
"My client didn't give any more than 20 holy coins." Said Elsa.
The thief stared at the money. It seems this may have been the first time Felt had ever seen this amount of money.
"Will this do?" Elsa believed she had won them over.
The senior didn't see anything wrong with the amount of money presented. "Fair enough. You can have the useless pendant." Said Rom.
"It's an Insignia." Elsa corrected him. "It qualifies the owner to enter the Royal Selection. It seems my client disagrees with allowing the elf any power."
"Hm. Perhaps your client isn't in the wrong." The senior nodded. "Having an elf with the appearance of the witch represent the kingdom is downright insane."
Seeing that everyone came to an agreement, Felt placed the insignia onto the table for her customer to take.
The woman on the other end of the table grinned with delight and accepted the insignia.
"This has been a pleasant experience." Said Elsa. "Now tell me, did the half-devil follow you?"
"She tried but failed." Felt cockily said. "She never had a chance of catching up with me."
"So then, we're all alone here?" Asked Elsa.
"Of course. It's just the way you wanted." Replied Felt.
Elsa allowed a sinister grin to decorate her lips and this was enough to disturb old man Rom.
"Listen, lady." Said Rom sternly. "You got what you came for, now leave us."
"Of course, I'll leave. Though I'm sad I didn't get a chance to disembowel anyone today. Perhaps someone else should suffice."
Rom glared at Elsa hoping his stare could intimidate her into going away but-
"Please, do entertain me." Said Elsa with killer intent.
Rom toppled the table towards Elsa in hopes of knocking her unconscious but Elsa was swift in evading danger. The assassin then gracefully landed away from the Giant.
"Elsa!" Felt shouted. "What's wrong with you!?" She said as Rom grabbed a nearby huge wooden club then stood in front of Felt.
The woman gleefully smiled at her two opponents. "My, I haven't done anything yet. The giant fossil attacked me first."
"Hm! Your words gave it away." Said Rom. "Why'd you even bother showing us money if this is what you had planned?"
"Kuku, you attacked me first." Said Elsa. "Am I not obligated to defend myself from a large man?" She then pulled out two large kukri blades and stood in a fighting stance.
"I see what you did there. You purposely provoked me." Said Rom holding the wooden club tightly. "No matter. If you think about harming Felt, I grind you to the ground!"
"I hope my first time with a giant isn't disappointing." Said Elsa.
As both combatants were about to kill each other, a disruption stopped them in their tracks.
-Knock, Knock, knock-
Everyone stared at the front door.
"Yo Genos, is this even the right place?" A voice echoed outside the front door.
"I am certain. It perfectly fits the description provided to us by the apple merchant."
"He called it appa but whatever."
"master, it seems nobody will answer us."
"I know I heard people in there, it seems they're ignoring us."
"Then I shall kick down the door if we aren't answered."
"Hold on, give them some time respond."
Rom noticed Elsa was distracted by the outside voices so he quickly hurled his weapon at her and to his annoyance she easily parried the club as if it's weight didn't matter in the slightest.
"tsk!" the giant hissed.
"You're surprisingly quick for a giant." She lazily complimented. "Though, not faster than me." She said this as she dodged another strike aimed at her midsection by acrobatically flipping herself over Rom's head and gracefully landing behind him.
She was moments away from attacking the old timer's blind side until Felt got in her way and blocked Elsa's slash with her own dagger in hand.
Elsa seemed very entertained by this. "You're blessed by wind protection?" She asked. "The world must really love you."
While the fight continued, the outside voices continued on and on. "Come ooonnn, open the dooor!"
"Master, allow me to destr-"
"Please, no. It's polite to use the front door as intended. And I should know. I get pissed when people ignore me and just blow holes into my apartment instead of simply using the front door as Kami intended."
"I see. Forgive my ignorance, sensei."
The noisy fight still continued as the two outsiders kept conversing.
"Hold on, sounds like a family feud in there. Maybe we should leave them alone."
"Perhaps that's why they couldn't hear us. Master, you should try knocking louder."
"Right, good idea."
-Whackkk- (Sound of door being knocked off its hinges)
The door projectile flew so fast it almost accidentally hit Elsa but her reaction time allowed her to slice the door in half.
"Ah?..." Saitama saw that he accidentally applied too much strength.
All eyes stared at Saitama and Genos.
Old man Rom fumed with anger. First, he's attacked by Elsa, now there's a baldy who knocks down his front door.
Elsa observed both heroes and thought them to be an odd-looking duo. An unintimidating caped baldy accompanied by a blond delinquent.
When Felt observed the heroes she mentally cursed herself believing they had followed her to the loot house.
"I'll pay for that." Said Saitama. Although he had no money it was a common sense thing to say. 'Why'd I say that?! I'm flat broke out of cash, dammit!' He thought.
"WHAT THE HELL!? YOU destroyed my door, you bald bastard!" Shouted Old man Rom, ready to attack Saitama too.
Saitama had no reason to take offense toward Rom. "... Really, dude, you're bald too."
Genos instantly scanned the scene. [Hostile woman... Hostile Giant... Small blond girl=TARGET FOUND] Genos was first to recognize the target and realize there was a death-battle in progress. He'll keep quiet for now and allow his sensei to handle things.
Elsa visibly relaxed her posture and began to laugh out loud. "Hahaha!" This caught everyone's attention.
"Hahaha!" She seemed a bit ecstatic and crazy for a moment there.
"Okay..." Said Saitama.
Elsa focused her attention on Felt. "I should have known. You failed to mask your presence, thus allowing strangers to trace your origin." She explained. "I have no choice but to gut everyone-."
"Not really." Interrupted Saitama. "We're just looking for a guy who's willing to buy something from us."
Elsa briefly glanced at Saitama in disinterest. "What're you-"
Saitama ignored Elsa and pulled a Z phone from his pocket (Sponsored by S class Hero King) and showed it to them. The phone had a small solar panel on the back which is perfect for constantly charging the phone while it's off. The phone screen was crystal clear making it seem like a mirror. In fact, Rom confused the phone to be a mirror.
"A pocket mirror?" Asked Rom. "Why would anyone want that?" He asked.
"That pocket mirror isn't of any importance right now!" Scoffed Felt with her voice raised.
"yeah." Added Rom. "Can't you see we're fighting for our lives?"
Saitama puts away the touch-phone and shook his head. "Oh, I do. That seems like a waste of time to be honest." They looked at him as if he were joking with them. "Honestly, why don't you talk things over like civilized people?" Asked Saitama.
"I'm afraid it's too late for that." Said Felt.
"Of course." Added Elsa. "As if I'll allow any of you to escape my web."
Saitama then focused on Elsa. "Well, then I'll just leave." Said Saitama, pointing at the exit.
"hah!" Laughed Elsa. "Try to escape from me!"
The assassin dashed toward Saitama at a blinding speed. Though something unnerved her. Saitama's eyes didn't lose track of her at any moment. 'Can he see me?' She asked herself.
"Watch out!" Cried Felt. She covered her eyes not wanting to see someone killed in front of her eyes.
Elsa was nano-seconds from disemboweling her target until Genos got in the way and received the force of the attack with his metallic arm.
"!" Elsa didn't see Genos move at all.
"Master doesn't wish to have his clothes ruined." Said Genos.
"Tsk!" Elsa retracted her weapon then went to stab Genos' eyes in blinding speeds but the cyborg's reaction time was set to 60,000 frames per second allowing him to tilt his head sideways to avoid Elsa's blades. Then he sent a perfectly placed punch into Elsa's stomach sending her toppling over a bar counter.
Elsa was heard painfully groaning behind the counter as she held her stomach.
"Weakling." Genos taunted her.
"That was pretty good, Genos." Commented Saitama.
Elsa coughed blood as she stood up using the counter as support. Despite her pain, she smiled like a battle-hungry maniac. "You!" She said to Genos. "You're not like these weaklings." She pointed at Rom and Felt. "~You'll make a good dance partner~." She finished with a lustful tone of voice.
Genos looked down on Elsa like she's a waste of time. "I would be flattered, but the man you attacked just now is far stronger than me. I'm simply following his footsteps." Said Genos.
"Is that so?" She asked. "I look forward to defeating you both."
Since this isn't a good place to end Chapter 1, I'm now I'm obligated to remaster chapter 2
Deleted scene

Saitama turned on the Z phone catching everyone off guard.
Zapphone... ... ... ... Powered by cydroid ... ... ... booting the phone... ... ... ... Welcome
The phone quickly booted into the home screen full of now useless apps. Though in order to keep the phone simple he'd have to delete every complicated app and simply keep the Music player and the Camera app.
Rom and Felt became fascinated with the strange piece of technology. The foreign words along with the booting animation really caught their attention. The letters were strange and didn't have any true meaning in Lugnican literature. And the apps with their strange icons were also mysterious. Even Elsa took the time to admire the piece of technology and forget about the fight in progress.
"A metia?" Asked Rom. "I've never seen one that takes the form of a pocket mirror."
"I have no idea what a metia is." Replied Saitama. "This is a touch phone. It's mainly for making long distance conversations instantaneous and it can play music and create portraits of people.
"That sounds far fetched." Commented Rom. "A single item cannot perform so many tasks."
"Just wait and see." Saitama then took an HD portrait picture of Rom and Elsa standing in their battle stances.
"Check it out." Saitama then showed them the image.
Re:Zero-One Punch Knight
I feel like ending it here. I'm going to need to remaster chapter 2 so that everything can make sense.
