"Please Sakura let me go! I promise not to bother you ever again just let me go!"

Naruto wiggled and screamed in Sakura's hold.

"I'm fine really Sakura! It's just a little pain I don't need surg- Ahhhh!" Naruto groaned in pain, clutching his stomach.

"See Naruto you're not fine! You need to have your appendix taken out right away before it gets any worse"!

"But Sakura you know I don't like needles! Please let me go! I won't make fun of you and Bushy Brows going out ever again! Please Sakura!"

Sakura just sighed "Sasuke please shut your boyfriend up! He's giving me headache!"

Sasuke sighed too. "Just finish strapping him in Sakura and I'll take it from there."

Sakura nodded quickly and finished tying Naruto to the hospital bed, ignoring his whimpers.

"I'll go grab Lady Tsunade and be right back."

"No Sakura wait!"

"Be quiet Dope it's just a little surgery. You'll be under the whole time. You won't feel a thing."

"But Sasuke what if something goes wrong!? What if Tsunade makes a mistake!? What if an enemy ninja tries to kill me while I'm unconscious!? I could die!

Sasuke sat beside Naruto and looked him in the eye.

"Naruto would I let you go into surgery if I didn't think you were completely safe?"

"……………….………..no"

"Would I let them use anyone other then their best doctors work on you?"

"……………no"

"Would I let anything ever happen to you?"

"…no"

"You know I love you right? I would never let you go though this alone. I'll hold your hand the whole time and when you wake up I'll be right here beside you. Trust me"

Naruto just smiled up at his boyfriend.

"I know Sasuke. I trust you. I'm just a little scared that's all."

Sasuke just leaned down and kissed Naruto softly on the lips.

"I'll be right here."

"Are you ready for us to start?" Sakura asked from the doorway.

Sasuke looked at Naruto who nodded his head slowly.

"Yeah he's ready Sakura. Do mind if I stay with him?"

Sakura smiled softly.

"Sure Sasuke. I doubt I could stop you anyway."

Sakura carefully placed the gas mask on Naruto's face and watched as Naruto fell asleep, his eyes never leaving Sasuke's.

HOURS LATER

"Naruto." Sasuke whispered as he watched his boyfriend wake up. Naruto's blue eyes looked up at him groggily.

"Sasuke." He mumbled affectionately.

"Everything went fine Naruto. You'll be out of here in no time and back home where you belong. I told you you'd be okay."

Naruto closed his eyes wearily.

"I know Sasuke you'd never let anything happen to me."
