Teru was stuck. Inside this Ferris wheel was not the man she would have chosen to spend ten minutes alone with. But alas, the Ferris wheel was broken, and she was stranded at the top, alone with this possibly dangerous man who had stolen her phone. Akira was sitting directly across from her, muttering about how high up the car was from the ground. And now he was holding her phone, typing out a message, which she was certain was some ransom note.
"Give me my phone back!" she demanded.
"So you can call Daisy to your rescue?"
"How do you know about Daisy?" she said reaching for the phone that was held out of her reach.
"Well, you must not know as much as I do for as much as you hang around with him, Teru. I honestly would expect better judgment from a girl like you on the company that you keep. Don't you know how many lives this boy has ruined. He is a true daisy cutter in the flesh."
Teru was taken aback. The Ferris wheel began turning, and Akira handed her back her phone, which was in the process of sending a message. The message read: "Daisy, I cannot forgive the person who killed my brother. Please disappear." She was shocked and as she looked at Akira she tried to force his resemblance to her brother from her mind. Before she could register that the wheel had stopped, he had hopped out of the car, and stood for a moment on the ground staring at something, someone before disappearing into the crowd.
She needed an explanation. She stepped out into the crowd in front of her, and some twenty feet away she could see Kurosaki holding his phone open, looking at it, frozen and aghast. No, no, no, no, no! she thought. There cannot be any truth to this lie. This is a lie. This is some cruel joke. He looked up and their eyes met from across the long distance between them. Teru took a step forward and fell to the ground in a faint.
No, no, no, no. Where did she go? Kurosaki looked through the crowd, concessions forgotten. That phone call had shaken him to the core. What did Akira tell her? The Ferris wheel had just come to a stop. Kurosaki saw a car open and from that door appeared a man whom he had not seen in years. Their eyes met briefly before his phone buzzed.
"Daisy, I cannot forgive the person who killed my brother. Please disappear." He felt the blood drain from his face. No, no, no. This was a crime he did not commit. What did he tell her? Couldn t she see who she was talking to?
He looked up from his phone and locked eyes with Teru. Oh god, she knows. She seemed to take a tepid step forward. He ran towards her as she fainted.
I am so anxious over what could happen in the manga that my mind just wandered and this is what I came up with. Let me know what you think.
