Bookworm
Ron carefully combed his thick flame-orange hair. He was getting ready for the date he had today. It was his girlfriends birthday, and he wanted it to be the best night of her life.
As he looked in the mirror one more time, he checked his pocket to make sure the stash of floo powder Fred had given him was still there, and then preceded to chastise himself mentally.
' Come on Weasley,' He thought, 'This is her we're talking about. She isn't going to judge you, so stop acting like a bloody 13 year old going to his first school ball!'
He straightened his shirt and then ran out of the boys dorm, slowing down once he reached the stairs. He walked into the common room, and smiled when he found his girlfriend relaxing in the chair facing opposite him, her nose buried deep into her newest book.
Walking up behind her, he leaned in and gently took the book out of her hands, making sure to bookmark it before placing it on the side table with a thump.
As she turned towards him and opened her mouth indignantly to protest, he silenced her by leaning even farther over the back of the chair and kissing her tenderly on the lips. He stepped back after a moment, and conjured up a bouquet of flowers behind his back. Smiling broadly, he handed them to her quickly and said softly,
"Happy Birthday, Hermione."
