In Which Urahara loses his hat

It was early morning in the urahara shop everybody has just awoken from their slumber and urahara did his morning routine of snipping a few pieces of facial hair (to keep the stubble look), parting his hair in the middle and messing it up again, puts on his clogs and gets his cane and fan. This ritual was a daily part of life in this household.

As he walks to breakfast he feels a slight chill down from his head to his spine, since this morning something just didnt feel right, hmm... he decided to shake it off and try to enjoy his breakfast. Breakfast was; as usual,
rice with fried fish with soup and a pinch of salt. But something seemed a bit off, tessai, ururu, and jinta were giving him weird looks throughout the meal, and it wasnt one of those theres-a-pervert-in-the-room look, it was a really disturbing look and he didnt like it.

After the very disturbing meal he took out his fan, and walked to the front of the shop... hmm... even though it was summer he still felt a certain breeze, a cold breeze that is; retreating into the shop he took a peek around, tessai was out, jinta was watching tv while picking his nose, ururu was obediently cleaning around, yet despite it being completely normal something just didnt felt right. "Has anyone of you seen yoruichi around"
The two kids just looked at him like he had a booger in his nose, and as if right on cue tessai returns and replies (r & r!)"yoruichi-sama is on the roof, she is currently sleeping." "ah right tessai-san" he then returns to his sleeping quarters to get a new start... in other words go back to sleep.

The day couldnt get any worse as he woke up from a terrible nightmare (dont ask what) and he just missed lunch,
it was his favorite too, curry. And then; it hit him... where was his hat? look to the left, no hat,
look to the right, still no hat. where was his hat?! scratch that, WHERE WAS HIS HAT?!

He panicked and paced around...looked at the time, 2:10 god he went through half a day without his hat?! It's a conspiracy! What has happened to the world?! "no no stay calm kisuke you'll find it... just stay calm, yeah that's right stay calm...just stay calm...i need a glass of water. GULP! ah that's better... now where was i? ah yes... WHERE'S MY HAT?!"-- inner thoughts of urahara kisuke.

When he has finished his panic fit he began to think logically..."maybe mr. hat got a vacation?"

Shuffling through dozens and dozens of junk and clutter. He came across numerous things he never knew they had,
like that croquet set, and a wig, a collar, a pair of shoes filled with bills and... is that gum on the photo?
Shoving those things away he came to the conclusion that he'll never find it at this rate, "maybe just get a new hat?" ... "Bah! what am i thinking i'll find it...eventually" --inner thoughts of urahara kisuke.

It was late afternoon,(around 5:35) he still has not found his hat, oh how he misses it. sigh
(noisy ruffling bushes sounds)
Yoruichi appeared before urahara in cat form, and on her mouth was...his hat!

"yoruichi-san! my hat my hat!" urahara waved to yoruichi.

Yoruichi then give the hat back to urahara and urahara wears it happily. "yoruichi-san where did you find it?
i spent the whole day looking for it!" urahara exclaimed. "you spent the whole day actually finding it? didnt you hear me last night, i asked you if i could borrow it and you waved it off so i took it!" yoruichi told this to urahara. In the end urahara's own stupidity caused all this trouble. "skipping lunch must have tampered with my brain." --inner thoughts of urahara kisuke.
