So Leah is probably pretty OOC, she doesn't strike me as a girly girl, even before. And also I was unsure of her age when she changed, when she met Sam etc. But I'm pretty happy with it overall.
When she was younger, she would write in her notebook.
She listed everything that she wanted.
It was sacred, no-one saw it, not even her mother.
She couldn't stop writing in that book, it made everything clearer.
At 6 it was a pony, some dolls.
At 8 it was a pink bedroom, longer hair.
At 10 it was make-up, to be allowed to shave her legs.
At 12 it was a boyfriend.
At 14, it was the boyfriend, Sam.
At 16, she never wanted things to change.
At 18, she wanted him back.
At 20, she wanted to be normal, human.
And right now, at aged 22, the book looks slightly different.
The need is more desperate, more intense.
She knew she'd never want anything else.
She covered every single available page in the same words.
Big, black, bold letters.
JACOB BLACK.
