Author's Note: This particular fic is based off of my life and events that have actually happened. I have a huge crush on a guy but he doesn't really seem to take much interest in me. Because I find similarities between myself and Courtney, she'll "be me" and my friend Amelia will be represented by Bridgette. I know it's crap, but I hope that you like it anyways.
I do not own Total Drama.
Courtney stood in front of the mirror on her locker door checking her hair. In the reflection, she noticed a particular somebody behind her. She took a quick relaxing breath and swung the locker door closed.
"Hey, Noah. How's it going?" she said as she fell into step with him.
"Meh." Noah said with a shrug.
"How was your summer?" she tried to spark conversation again.
"It was good."
"What did you do?"
"Not much."
"Are you excited that school has started again?"
"Not really." Noah monotoned. Courtney could see that she was getting nowhere.
"Oh, look, there's Bridgette. I'll see you later." Courtney said with a little wave.
"Whatever." Noah walked off. Once he was a distance away, Courtney groaned and stomped her foot on the ground.
"Still no luck?" Bridgette asked her.
"He barely talks to me!" Courtney moaned to her friend.
"Why do you like him if he never talks to you?" Bridgette asked. Courtney sighed and slumped against the wall. She had been crushing on Noah for months. She tried to make conversation with him and tried to get him to like her, but despite her best efforts, nothing seemed to work.
"To be honest with you, I haven't the foggiest idea. There's just something about him that I find extremely attractive. It's probably his hair. His hair looks so soft and beautiful. As weird as it sounds, I really want to touch it."
"Are you sure that's all of him that you want to touch?" Bridgette teased. *
"Oh my gosh, Bridgette! How could you say something like that?!" Courtney said in shock and glanced around to make sure that nobody near them had heard.
"Oh, chill, it was a joke." Bridgette said.
"I know, but I didn't find it to be very funny."
"It'll be ok, he's got to like you eventually."
"It feels like a lost cause. Nobody wants to date me except for that punk Duncan and the dirt-boy Scott"
"Nonsense. I'm sure that plenty of guys would want to date you." Bridgette said.
"Yeah, right. Why would they want to date a bossy jerk like me?" Courtney's eyes began to tear up.
"Because you're not a bossy jerk. You a beautiful, hardworking, strong, smart girl and any guy who doesn't see that is an idiot. The right guy will come along when the time is right. Trust me." Bridgette reassured her.
"If you say so."
"I know so." Bridgette hugged Courtney and smiled at her. Courtney smiled back and wiped the tears from her eyes.
"Come on, we have first period together, so let's get down to History class." Bridgette took Courtney's wrist and led her down the hall.
*Once when I was talking about the before mentioned guy to Amelia about how much I loved his hair and wanted to touch it, she said those exact words to me and I had a very similar reaction.
Author's Note: I'm not sure if I should continue this fic or just leave it here. You tell me. I was originally was going to have Courtney be crushing on Trent, but Noah fits my crush's personality better.
