Eric lay back on his bed, a bottle of beer in his right hand, a blunt in the other. He had just made the single worst decision of his life...

He decided to kill Killbane...letting the woman he loved die. He let revenge blur his mind on the situation and murdered the guy who had killed many of the other saints...

He looked up when the song playing off his ipod changed, from arma-goddamn-motherfuckin-geddon to my immortal.

"Fuck this shit. I ain't listening to this right now" He got up and changed the song to the next one, Mama, by my chemical romance. It was better than a song about death...

Wait, this is about death too

"why does every fucking song in this fucking universe have to be about death!?" He yelled at the ceiling.

7 years ago, he had just woken from a coma and had gone to Tee'N'ay to see his girlfriend. She hated how he looked now, and dumped him there on the spot. Although he didn't show it, he was so heartbroken, he thought he would die.

But that was nothing compared to now. Now not only did he feel like he was going to die, he wanted to die.

At first, he thought he only liked her because of the rebound from the break-up...and now he has just realised he loved her no matter what.

"You ok boss?" He looked up to see Pierce standing there. He nodded, but Pierce didn't believe him.

"Look, I know you're upset about our girls...but come on, S.T.A.G. are back and are worse than ever and we need to stop them...for us. For Shaundi, Viola, Burt Reynolds, Johnny and everyone else the saints lost"

Eric looked up with red eyes. Whether it was because he was drunk and partly high or because of his upset was a different story, but what he said scared Pierce.

"for Shaundi...for fucking Shaundi! I don't give a shit about that junk-head hippie who was such a fucking whore it would be easier for her to name the guys she hadn't fucked with her hot fucking body and tight pussy and ass!" Pierce just stared, completely silent and in complete disbelief, no wonder he was so upset, he was in love with Shaundi.

"You liked Shaundi" He said it very accusingly then, "You loved her".

Suddenly it all made so much sense...why Eric acted the way he did around her. Why he stopped talking to Johnny so much when he started dating Shaundi just before he...y'know.

And why she seemed his favourite.

"I wish I could go back y'know. Stop myself from getting revenge on Killbane and actually do something useful...something right for a change"

Pierce just nodded...he was sure this is what teenage girls do, not grown men, but life works like that sometimes.

"look man...there'll be other girls" the look he got said it all. Eric loved Shaundi and no-one else. There wouldn't be other girls, not for Eric anyway.

Pierce stood in the door for a while, then left. Nothing could be said on the matter now.

Rrriiiinnnggg

Pierce looked at his cell phone, and picked it up when he realised it was Steelport City Hospital. What he heard made him run upstairs and he about threw himself into the bosses bedroom.

"Boss!"

"What!?" Eric shouted, sounding like he would kill Pierce.

"Shaundi's alive!" Eric suddenly sobered up due to the shock news.

Within 15 minutes they were at the hospital and Eric was by Shaundi's bedside.

"hey boss" She said weakly through half closed eyes.

"Shaundi I have to tell you something...I-I...I love you" Eric looked down at the floor, knowing he was as red as the syndicate tower used to be.

"I know..." She smiled, taking his hand, and when he asked why she answered with 5 words he thought he would never hear.

"Because I love you too"
