"Oliver, where are we going?" Percy asked for the hundredth time as Oliver lead him across the campus. Oliver had his hands covering Percy's eyes and refused to tell him where they were going or what they were doing.
"We're almost there," Oliver said guiding Percy to the abandoned Quidditch Pitch where there were two brooms waiting for them. "Okay, Perce, you can open your eyes now," Oliver said removing his hands when they reached the center of the Pitch.
Percy looked around confused for a few minutes before noticing the two brooms immediately there was a look of panic on his face, "Oliver, what are we doing here?"
"I want you to understand why I love Quidditch so much," Oliver explained. Percy still looked confused so Oliver continued, "I figured we could fly together."
"Ol, I can't -"
"If it's a matter of you not knowing how to I can teach you Percy," Oliver offered.
"No I know how to fly I just -
"Then what are we waiting for?" Oliver interrupted the prefect while pushing him onto a broom and mounting the other.
Percy nervously mounted and kicked off after Oliver was already in the air. Percy hovered a few feet above the ground refusing to go any higher. "Come on, Perce," Oliver yelled gesturing for the other boy to join him.
"I c-can't," Percy said his voice shaking.
Oliver dived down to where Percy was before asking him, "What do you mean you can't? You're doing just fine."
"I'm scared of heights," Percy admitted while blushing.
"What do you mean you're scared of heights? You past flying when we were in our first year," Oliver asked.
"I can fly, I'm actually very good. I wasn't scared of heights back then though," Percy explained, "The summer between our second and third year Charlie and I were playing Quidditch against the twins. Charlie through the Quaffle to me and I lost my balance and I fell off. I ended up breaking one of my arms, a few ribs, and spraining an ankle. I haven't been able to fly since then."
"Perce, I'm sorry. I wouldn't have asked you to do this if I had any idea. We can land if you want," Oliver offered.
"No, I want to try this again. Just promise me that you won't let me fall," Percy replied knowing how much this meant to the Keeper.
"Of course."
Percy flew higher and realized that it wasn't quite so bad. The two flew for about an hour before it got too dark for them to see, Oliver stayed close to Percy the whole time. When the two landed Percy dismounted funny and almost fell - Oliver caught him at the last second and helped him up asking, "You okay?"
"Yeah," Percy replied.
"Okay wait here while I go put the brooms back," Oliver said running off. When he came back the two started back towards the castle while walking up the hill Percy tripped again this time twisting his angle and taking Oliver down with him. Percy fell on top of Oliver and starting blushing and apologizing. "Pere, don't -
"No, it's my fault-
"Percy, look at me I promised you I wouldn't let you fall and that's just what I did," Oliver interrupted before kissing Percy and stopping the stream of apologizes coming from the redhead's mouth.
