Her eyes. That was her favorite thing about her. Those eyes, deep and intriguing, intricate and soft and impossibly kind. She loved watching her eyes, the way they glinted when she smiled, how they lit up when she was excited. She observed in admiration as she strolled over to the nurse's station, her eyes narrowed in concentration as they scanned the charts she was filling out, clear and blue and positively mesmerizing. She found herself struggling to look away.

"Robbins."

She continued to watch as she handed the clipboard to a nurse, her eyes glimmering as she flashed him a dimpled smile. God, her smile. That was her second favorite thing. Her smile could alter her mood even on the worst of days.

"Robbins!"

Arizona snapped out of her daze, finally forcing herself to look away, turning her head to find Alex smirking at her knowingly.

"What, Karev?"

"You're not very subtle, are you? Cut it out."

Arizona blushed. "I don't know what you're talking about."

Alex rolled his eyes. "Don't play dumb. It's obvious. Go talk to her. Ask her out."

The blonde sighed, deciding that there was no point in pretending it wasn't true.

"Okay, yeah. I like her. A lot," she admitted. "But I can't do that. We work together, it could get messy. Besides, she's straight."

"As far as you know."

"Huh?"

"I've seen the way she looks at you. I think she's into you, too."

"Alex..." Arizona began.

"Come on, it's worth a shot. Just tell her, what's the worst that could happen?"

The blonde let out a loud huff before speaking again. "No. I can't. What would I even say?"

"'Hey, Amelia! I think you're really hot and I want to do dirty things to you,'" Alex imitated.

"Alex! Shut up. No. You know it's not that simple."

"Whatever, I still think you should tell her. I'm tired of watching you stare at her all day. Do something about it."

"Is this seat taken?"

Arizona looked up from her lunch tray, her heart fluttering when she saw Amelia standing in front of her, gesturing to the empty chair across from her at the two-person table.

"Uh, no. Go ahead."

The brunette smiled, sitting down and scooting the chair closer to the table. She took a bite of her sandwich, her eyes drifting downward as she ate.

"So, word on the street is that you want to do dirty things to me."

Arizona froze, taken aback by the other woman's casualty. Her heart pounded hard and fast in her chest, her mind suddenly void of any words. Say something. Anything.

"I-what... How did you-?"

She relaxed a little when she saw Amelia smile, chuckling softly at the blonde's frustration.

"I overheard you and Alex talking," she explained.

"Oh, God-"

"Arizona, relax," the brunette laughed. "He was right."

The blonde raised an eyebrow, asking for clarification.

"I'm into you, too," Amelia stated simply. "You should've told me."

Arizona couldn't fight the smile that spread across her face. "What would I have said?"

"Alex's thing would've worked."

The blonde laughed. Apparently it was that simple. "It would've worked if I told you I wanted to do dirty things to you?"

Amelia laughed and nodded. She let out a frustrated huff when her pager went off and shot the other woman an apologetic look. "I'll talk to you later?"

Arizona nodded, a grin still plastered on her face. The brunette stood up and walked over to the trash can, disposing of her leftover food and stacking her tray before walking back over to the table where the blonde sat. She stood behind her and leaned in, her breath softly tickling Arizona's ear as she whispered.

"For what it's worth, I want to do dirty things to you too."
