This poemis from Joey's point of view (POV). His father has finally gotten so drunk, that he couldn't stop beating on his son, Joey, and therefore, kills him. Joey is now an angel who's saying good bye to his friends.

"Farewell"

Where am I? I wonder aloud.
I feel as if I'm adrift on some cloud.
Below I see a boy with cuts on his head and arms.
The moment I see it's me, I'm instantly alarmed.
There's broken glass all over, from beer bottles no doubt.
Dads drank for so long, now he'll have to go without.
I try to get up, but to no avail.
It looks like daddy's goin' to jail.
Poor sis, I wish I could give her a call.
But I can't right now, maybe never at all!
Serenity, I'm sorry, I've failed you and dad.
Please don't blame yourself, it wasn't you that was bad.
Yami… Yuge… I thank you lots for bein' a bully's friend.
Even when the cold wind blew, you would never bend.
Bakura, what can I say?
I love ya man, that'll never change.
Tristan, Téa, though I may taunt,
You'd better lead good lives, or I'll come back to haunt.
Kaibs, I'll say this real fast,
You were always a pain in the … ahem, butt.
Mokie, You're not a bad kid.
Just don't do, what your big bro. did.
See ya later everyone.
So long now, it's been fun.
