Shadow Boy

There was once a boy

Built by the dark

His skin, paler than snow

with black hair, the difference was stark

Locked in the shadows

He learned how to sing

Caged to the dungeons

He seldom used his wings

Alone and afraid

His only friends monsters

Within his family

He was but an imposter

One day he was freed

But he didn't understand

Why the life of a boy

Meant the burning of his hands

As he stumbled through roads

Unable to fly

He soon quickly realized

He was able to spy

To listen to his friends

The monsters around

And sing to him they did

The word of the town

He found himself comrades

But different he was

For instead of a fire

He had shadow for blood

Then came a war

And so came the dark

He whispered to shadows

They gave him his mark

It took many years

But with his compeers he reunited

But never did they speak (not truly)

Of the shadows he sighted

And so the boy then grew

A shield made of stone

To keep him from harm

But it kept him alone

There was once a boy

Made of shadows

Made of darkness

Looking for light

Oh, the little shadow boy

Oblivious

To the fact

That he was so much more

Hey guys! Whaddoya think?

It's been a while since I written a poem. I kinda like it.

Do you think this makes sense for Az? I cut it off because I didn't want it to be his life's story, 'cause that's not interesting, and I made this mostly during school.

Wait.

I actually did the whole thing during school.

Anywho, see you next time!

Random Fact: I love potatoes.

franklyherondale out!

(I think that's what my sign off is gonna be now…)
