POTTER-WEASLEY WEDDING

Is it possible to be granted a greater honour than to be the only reporter allowed at Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley's (now Potter's) wedding? Most likely, but it was a great surprise when I was informed I would be the one there to witness this beautiful union.

As expected, it was a closed off wedding, open to only those who were family or very dear friends to the couple (or, in my case, a sole Daily Prophet reporter). Of course, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley were in attendance, as were Neville Longbottom and Luna Lovegood, who attended Hogwarts with the bride and groom.

The wedding itself was a beautiful, peaceful, and intimate ceremony. Ginny Weasley (or Potter) looked absolutely stunning in her white gown and a braid running through her red hair. If Potter's reaction when he saw her was anything to go by, it is safe to say that she was the most beautiful woman in the room that day.

Harry Potter… well he, too, was rather handsome in a Muggle tuxedo. The poor bloke did look terrified, though. I suppose weddings aren't easy for anyone – even if you are The Boy Who Lived.

The reception was strictly prohibited to the media, so I was not permitted to attend that part, but my photographer – Dennis Creevey – took some lovely snaps of the bride and groom as they made their vows earlier that day.

I was okay not to have attended the reception, as the wedding was beautiful enough and I was delighted just to be able to attend.

On the next page you will find the pictures that were taken and you can see for yourself how wonderful the couple looked together.

For now, however, that is the end of my blog for this week. I hope that you will all read next Saturday where it will be my two page interview with Minister for Magic, Kingsley Shacklebolt.

Until then, I hope everybody has a lovely week, and doesn't get into too much trouble.

Ugh, I had such a plain prompt with an unknown character... this was rather hard, haha. I am not sure how this turned out, but I went over it twice, so I hope it's decent enough. I think it's safe to say I won't be writing Megan Jones in a hurry anytime soon. She's not the best Daily Prophet reporter/blogger ;) I guess that could be my head canon for her - she scrapes through life by writing mediocre news articles...
