It was already 7am but Yusuke was still laying on his bed, wondering what would happen if he didn't go to school . He really hates Monday. Suddenly Keiko came to his room...
"How long are you gonna stay like that? We're gonna be late so get dressed!"
"Yeah I know, but look at the sky Keiko. It's so dark and I think we shouldn't go to school!" answered Yusuke.
"So what's the problem? Is the 'dark sky' bothering you?" asked Keiko as she saw Yusuke's sleepy face. She's already used to hear all Yusuke's reasons for not going to school.
"No, I mean... ah whatever"
Finally Yusuke decided to end the stupid fight that he knew it would never end and went to school with Keiko. 'I wish something happens to me today that will make Keiko stops dragging me to school like this, even it's only for a day. That's fine...' he thought.
The bell rang and all the students went home, leaving Yusuke and Keiko alone in the classroom. 'Damn, it's raining. Guess I should stay here for a while'. And then Yusuke opened a book and read it.
"So you're reading a book now?" teased Keiko. She didn't think Yusuke would like to read something like books.
"Ofcourse, what else could it be? But it's not a trash like you always read at school!".
"What is that? Anyway it's not a trash, it's important for your future Yusuke".
"Yeah yeah spare me the lecture Keiko I'm trying to focus on the book" said an annoyed Yusuke.
" You remember our appointment next Wednesday right? "
"Uhm... nope. What is it?" Yusuke closed the book and had his face in front of Keiko's, teasing her.
"What?! It's my birthday party Yusuke! I invited you to my house for dinner. I can't believe that you already forget about it". Said Keiko angrily. 'How come he doesn't remember my birthday?'
"Hey calm down Keiko. I was joking you know. Ofcourse I remember it geez, it's free right?"
"Yes, and you better come. I'm expecting a present from you"
The rain had stopped so they walked home together as always. On the way home, Yusuke's mind was filled with Keiko's words 'She wanted a present from me, but what should I give her?'
"Keiko, I need to buy something first. You can walk by yourself can't you?"
Somehow she felt like she didn't wanna let him go, she had a feeling that something bad would happen if he left, "Can I go with you?"
"N-no, I'm sorry but I have to leave. You don't have to pick me up tomorrow, don't worry I'll go to school okay? See you tomorrow!" then he rushed like mad bull to the center of town, he left Keiko alone and confused, 'What happened to him?'.
Author's Note: Soooo, this is my first story! Tbh I don't have any idea about Keiko's gift. Would you like to give some examples? Something that's very sweet, except ring or wedding stuffs. Umm, speaking of birthday, my 15th birthday is on March 11, 6 days from now lol *flashback: Yusuke's 15th birthday awww*. Anyway, I'm waiting for the reviews, thank you :D
