For Easter

"A visit from the Easter Consulting Detective."

Sherlock returned to 221b utterly exhausted. Chasing criminals all day could be a tiring and tedious business. He took off his jacket and slumped in his chair, closing his eyes for a moment. "John, could I borrow your phone?"

He felt a phone softly land on his stomach, he peeped one eye open to look at Johns, most likely disgruntled face, but there was something else. He was wearing a pair of pastel pink rabbit ears.

"John, what in god's name are you wearing?"

"Rabbit ears." John pointed it out like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Why are you wearing rabbit ears?"

"It's Easter tomorrow, it's a bit of fun."

Sherlock shot John a look of pure confusion. "People celebrate the strangest of things in the strangest of ways, who buys chocolate for a holiday?"

"Lots of people do, Sherlock, and for many occasions. I got you some chocolate."

"You got me chocolate?"

"Yes I did. And I didn't think I could expect something from you so I got some from myself. I like Easter, you can eat a ton of chocolate and no one will judge you."

John sighed and left to check his blog. Sherlock checked that he was gone, and left 221b once more.

John woke up groggily. He felt something heavy at the foot of his bed, Sherlock no doubt. He opened his eyes and was shocked. "Sherlock!"

Sherlock walked in with John's rabbit ears perched in his black curls. "Yes?"

John let out a laugh. "What did you do?!"

"Last night when you went to check your blog, I went to the shop and bought quite literally, a ton of chocolate and when you fell asleep I put it all on the bottom of your bed."

John smiled and shook his head. "Oh my god, how am I going to eat it all?!"

Sherlock jumped on John's bed and unwrapped a bunny next to him and took a bite. "I suggest you skip your crumpets and jam."
