The cool wind was stinging my finger tips as I did my best at a talent I was only second best at. It was October, I had decided since I turned 18 and I am now an adult, that I moved out of my mothers house. Now that I had moved into a small two person apartment downtown, had six days of school left till I graduated, and I had two part time jobs at a coffee house and at a comic book store. I was busy. Today was my day off and it was a Saturday. Saturday 18, 2004. Nothing to do, walking downtown Chicago, cigaret in hand and my wallet in my left butt pocket.
"Hey think you could spare a cigg?" I heard a voice coming from the right of me. When I turned my head to see a man about 5'6, wearing a black sweatshirt, a Misfits t-shirt, black skinny jeans with quite large holes in the knee's of them, and red high top converse. His face was adorable, I stopped walking and stared at him. I memorized his features. The look of his lips, what I could see of his hair, greasy and in his adorable face, the way he was standing, the tattoo's on his neck, and the confused look on his face. I shook my head, realizing I was standing there like a moron, staring at this adorable man.
"Oh yeah sorry!" I reached for my cigaret pack that was in my coat pocket grabbing the almost empty package. Pulling one out and handing it to the attractive man.
"Thanks I really needed one of these." He smiled putting the cancer stick in his mouth. "Do you by chance have a lighter?" he asked a worry smile on his face. I giggled walked a little closer to him, pulled the black and red lighter out of my pocket and lit his cigaret. He smiled at me.
"Thanks I appreciate it." his smile made me melt.
"So cute..." I mumbled out loud, loud enough for the adorable stranger to hear me. Smiling wider he laughed.
"Thanks, you quite cute yourself." He smiled blowing the gray smoke from his lips. My face flushed as I held my breath looking at the man smiling. "Whats your name? I owe you a cancer stick." He lifted the cigaret. I blinked and stuttered.
"Alexandria, but you can call me Allie."
"Love your name, im Frank."
