The Man in the Moon looked down on the bloodstained pool that once belonged to the Great Jay Gatsby. He took pity on him. Never before had the Man in the Moon seen such a person filled with hope; blind hope. His death was unjust and the Man in the Moon could not stand that. So the famous Great Jay Gatsby became a Guardian: the Guardian of Hope.
So the Great Jay Gatsby lived his immortal life, always returning to his one true love. It was like another bullet had seared his heart every time he saw the shameful Tom Buchanan touch Daisy; his Daisy.
As Daisy grew older and older, Gatsby visited her more and more, never seen, never heard. Even though she hurt him, he couldn't stop loving her. She was his hope; his dream. The sole actor of his dreams became the reason for his nightmares.
The thing that saddened Gatsby most was that his love never smiled. She was never happy. Never happy like she was that one day, dancing under his chandelier.
