"UGH!" Ed groaned, a strange lisp coming from his lips as he spoke. "It hurts…"

"Well, it's bound to hurt for a while brother." Al sighed; he'd said that very statement nearly a hundred times since they'd come from the dentist. Ed just groaned and ran his tongue over the brackets and wires that were cemented to his teeth only a few hours before hand.

"Ugh…" he groaned again, biting his lips and pain soared through his teeth, "Ow…" he massaged his swollen lips and cheeks that had already been filled with scratches. Not to mention the fact that his tongue kept poking and prodding at the numb corners of his mouth, getting covered with scratches.

"Brother… stop messing with your braces…" Al closed his eyes as a sweat drop fell.

"Why…?" The lisp had caught Ed once again.

"I can hear your tongue messing with them from all the way over here…" Al practically stood five feet away from his older brother. Ed just shrugged and stuck his tongue out, "Ow…" he had gained another scratch on his tongue and the others ached once more. Al just sighed thinking, "It's going to be a very long few months to come."

Ed just sighed groaning another ow since he once more bit his tongue. Al just put his hand on his head sighing, "Yes very long few months to come…"
