Was it too much to ask to retain some normalcy in her life? Too much to ask that she could be a normal teenage girl? Yeah, she guessed it was. 'Cause the minute she saw Claudia every question answered yes. Asking for normalcy was out of the question. Hoping to be normal was too. Every monster she came across screamed 'NIGHTMARE' in her face with flashing red lights. The sickening sound of the rusted metal grating from the elevator as it went down. Like a descent into hell, monster after monster tried to kill her. All but one that she saw, it was killing another one. She hoped it was killing them so they didn't hill her and not for a darker purpose. She braved it all. Going through the sewers, the construction zone. Just to get home and find her father dead. Murdered. Now she had to go to some town shed never been to. With a man she's never met before. Fight more monsters. Try not to die. Try to keep herself from behind eaten from the inside by their so called 'God'. She was cold, she was tired and she missed her father. But still she trudged on. Through every head-splitting headache, every stomach pain that reminded her time was running out. She had a chance to kill Claudia. Had the gun aimed at her head and didn't pull the trigger. Then Claudia birthed the 'God' herself and died. Heather couldn't do it herself and it angered her. But killing the 'God' was enough.
And as she laid flowers on her fathers grave a piece of her mourned so heavily it reduced her to tears. Another piece of her was solemn and grave. Two halves of a whole to create one person. She knew now that she was Alessa Gillespie as much as she was Heather Mason.

Idk what this was really. It just kind of grew on its own. I typed a lot of it listening to the soundtrack while not looking at the screen and watching my grandpa play Left 4 Dead. Which is highly entertaining because he tries killing the Tank with pistols XD
