Short little fluffy one-shot. :) Takes place right before TLH, right after Percy and Annabeth start dating :D hope you enjoy it!

Stars

"That's Canis Major, one of Orion's hunting dogs."

Annabeth pointed to a cluster of stars next to Orion-the only constellation Percy knew.

He squinted at the sky."I don't see a dog." He said.

He cocked his head, "But if you turn your head this way, it's a stick person."

Annabeth raised an eyebrow at him. "A stick person?"

Percy shook his head. "Phil." He corrected her.

Annabeth rolled her eyes. "Only Percy Jackson could think a one thousand year old constellation is a stick person."

Percy took her chin in his hand and tilted her head to the right. She squinted.

"Damn you. I see it." She said.

Percy grinned triumphantly and Annabeth shoved his shoulder.

They had been doing this for hours; she would point out a real constellation and he would make one up. The bonfire was dying, but it still burned hot against Percy's back. Annabeth sat beside him, staring intently at the night sky. Her golden curls were tied in a messy ponytail. The last few campers dispersed into their cabins, leaving them alone. Her gray eyes sparkled in the light of the stars.

"Do you think we'll ever be up there?" She asked.

"We had better be," Percy scoffed, "for all the crap the gods have put us through."

Annabeth's smile faded. "And that's only so far." She said.

Percy's stomach twisted into knots. The topic of the new prophecy always loomed over them like a dark cloud. He thought everything would go back to normal after Kronos was defeated. Now another problem was on the rise.

"We'll be okay." He blurted out.

Annabeth turned to him. He met her gaze.

"Even if nothing else is okay," he continued, "me and you, we'll be okay."

Annabeth smiled, but her eyes were pained.

Percy dropped his gaze and cleared his throat. "How long do you think we have before the harpies come?" He asked, eager to change the subject.

Annabeth laced her fingers through his. "Not long enough." She said softly.

Percy's heart sped up. Her face was inches from his. He could smell the lemon scent of her hair. They had only been a couple for a few days, but he knew where this was going. She smiled at his apparent nervousness.

"Seaweed Brain?"

"Yes?"

"Kiss me." She whispered.

Percy pressed his smiling lips to hers. She wrapped her arms around his neck. All his worries melted into oblivion. He brushed his fingers across her cheek. She pulled away and his eyes fluttered open. She smiled and glanced at the sky.

"You know, I think Phil sort of looks like you." She said.

Percy laughed loudly. Annabeth slapped a hand over his mouth, but she was laughing too. Percy didn't know what the new prophecy would bring, but for now, he was okay.

They were both okay.

Okay? Okay. :D Little did Percy know that he would be THROWN INTO A FREAKING DIFFERENT CAMP WITH HIS MEMORY WIPED. *sobs* R/R please!
