The Saviors

"This time I really DO have nuthin'!"

"Cmon, Kim… Like I said before, THAT'S QUITTER TALK!"

"But Ron, here we are, locked in a basement at the bottom of a huge complex, and there's no way we can get out. We can't get a signal out, we can't burn our way out, we can't even blow our way out!"

"But Kim…"

"Yeah Ron…"

"We've got each other."

The two hugged each other so tight. It was as if they were pulling energy from each other.

"How much air do you think is left in here, Kim?"

"Never even thought about it."

"Can you figure it with the Kimmunicator?"

"Let me try something. Let's see, this room is approximately…" She typed in a figure.

"Figure the oxygen usage for two people…" She typed in some more.

"Oh My God, Ron!" She dropped the Kimmunicator as she brought her hands to her mouth. "Ron… Ronald, my dear, my love, my only reason to live…"

"K… Kim? Wh…What is it?"

"Ron, we only have a minute left before the oxygen runs out." She said with a hushed voice.

"Well, Kim, there's no place I'd rather be than with you at this time." His eyes started to flutter, as the lack of oxygen started to take effect.

"Oh Ron… We have to hold out just… a… little… more…"

Just before Kim passed out, she thought she saw the door burst open, and what looked like hundreds, no thousands of people pouring in. Disconnected voices could be heard. "Are we too late?" "Can they be saved?" "No, Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable WILL NOT DIE! This is not the end!"

Kim woke up in a hospital, in the same room with Ron. He was in his own bed. She groggily got up, stepped out of bed, and stumbled over to Ron. She crawled onto the bed, and lay beside him, with her head on his shoulder, and her hand on his chest. Ron looked at her with a sleepy eye, and Kim looked up at him feeling just as tired.

Ron's hand slowly moved under Kim, and rested itself on her hip. His other hand went to hers that was on his chest, and their fingers interlaced.

They tiredly glanced around the room, seeing flowers, cards, and a few small gifts. There was a huge banner hanging on the wall right where they would see it when they awoke. It read:

KIM POSSIBLE AND RON STOPPABLE: WE LOVE YOU!

Signed: You're Fans

The banner was signed by thousands of names. In a corner, written very small, were the letters, SDS and SKP.

"They saved us Ron. Our fans saved us." The two drifted off to sleep, knowing that in the hearts of their fans they would never die.

I know, very sappy. But if we all do our part, we really CAN save Kim Possible the show. Check out the Kim Possible groups on the internet and you will find much info on what needs to be done to save the show from cancellation. At least we hope.

We did it! We did it! WE DID IT! Congratulations to all who worked tirelessly to get Kim Possible the fourth season! I had kinda forgotten I had posted this quite a while back… In retrospect it seems sorta prophetic, don't it?
