Katrina Southernson clutched at her bag, her blue eyes wide with fear. Generally she didn't get scared but she didn't make friends easily and a new school was the last thing she needed. She glanced down at the paper wit her homeroom number on it. 108. there was no way she would be able to find it in time
"Need help?"
Katrina turned to see a short, pretty girl with black hair standing behind her
"yeah, I don't know how to get to room 108"
"that's my room too! I'll take you. I'm Tanya, by the way"
"Katrina"
"awesome"
Katrina let Tanya lead her down two corridors, up a flight of steps and into a noisy an jam packed classroom.
"here we are. Hey look! It's twinkeloes! OI TWINKLETOES! C'MERE!!"
Katrina turned in time to see a boy running towards them
"Twinletoes, meet Katrina. Katrina, this is Aaron,"
"hi"
Tanya looked distractedly around the room "where are Zane and – oh! There's Sasha." A tall orange haired girl was walking towards them accompanied by – Sam!?
"what are you doing here Sam? I thought you were in room 330"
Tanya stared Between Katrina and sam "wait…you two know eachother??"
Sam stared at her "we're twins. Isn't it obvious?"
"QUIET DOWN CLASS!!" unseen by anyone, the homeroom teacher had entered. The entire class raced to their seats.
"Katrina,"
"yes Tanya"
"can you leave a seat next to you for our friend Zane he should be here – speak of the Devil here he is! Shuffle over Kat"
Katrina shuffled over, leaving a seat between herself and Sasha but keeping her eyes down. She got shy easily, and in the space of fifteen minutes, she had met 3, very noisy, new people.
"Zane you are late! Come here!"
"sorry mr Zhao, I had something to settle with my little sister alina."
"I don't care if you were training a monkey. Take your seat NOW"
Zane walked over to the group. Sasha motioned at the seat between her and Katrina and Zane sat in it.
"hey," he murmured to Katrina "are you new?"
She nodded and looked up at him shyly
Blue met Gold.
