Gibbs angrily stormed into the office, glaring at DiNozzo. The man didn't even pertend to pay attention to him, but instead finished up his conversation with Ziva, peering at the computer intently.
"What are the two of you doing, watching porn?" Gibbs demanded with a roll of his eyes as he walked towards his desk.
DiNozzo didn't even flinch. "Nope, Boss. Gathering a case lead," he responded.
Gibbs just rolled his eyes and remembered rule #51: Sometimes, you're wrong. But he wasn't about to give up that easily. "Really? What lead?" he asked, not even phased when DiNozzo tossed a frappuccino to McGee, who had just come in.
"We figured out who did it," Ziva responded. "Remember rule #40?"
"You mean, 'if it seems that someone is watching you, they are?'" Gibbs returned with a smile.
"Yes," Ziva responded. "We figured it out right. McGee was the one who was sending Tony the fake emails."
"Hey!" McGee responded as he spit out the coffee Tony had just given him. "It was payback!"
Gibbs just shook his head. "Do you have something to do, or do I need to create work for you?"
"We have something to do, sir," the trio said, almost in unison. Even DiNozzo hurried out of sight.
But not before he flashed Gibbs a winning, trademarked grin.
