Beckett was about to get out of bed, when Castle stirred, ultimately waking up. He saw that she was leaving, and reached an arm out to pull her back into the bed. "Stay." Was all he sad, his voice still tired, burying himself deeper into the pillow.
"Castle, I have so much to do, and it's my first day off in a while.
He looked up, and proceeded to lift himself out of bed and climb on top of her.
"Castle." She tried not to laugh. "What are you doing?" She curled up, trying to get him off.
"Can't a guy get a good morning kiss from his girl?"
She sighed. "His girl. I like the sound of that." He leaned in, the, finally getting her to cooperate, and kissed her. "I really do have to go, babe." She broke apart, knowing she had things to do.
"But I haven't finished my morning kiss yet." He shifted, kissing her neck.
She tried pushing him off, knowing that if he started, he would never stop. "Castle." It came out more breathy than she had intended it to.
All he did was mumble.
"I really, really have to go." She didn't want to, not at this point, but she had so much to do around the house.
"Kate." He complained, moving from her neck, back to her face, giving her puppy dog eyes.
"Do not give me those puppy dog eyes, Richard Castle." She pointed a finger at him, trying her best not to give in; those eyes always got her.
"But I miss you. I feel like I haven't seen you in weeks."
"Hmm." She raised an eyebrow, thinking she could spare maybe a few seconds. "Show me how much you miss me."
A huge grin spread across his face. "Alright." He started by kissing her forehead and then down to her nose. He kissed both cheeks, placing a chaste kiss on her lips. He pushed a stray curl out of her face, and looked into her eyes.
"What?"
"Nothing, it's just. You're so beautiful. How did I get so lucky?"
She tried her best not to blush. Instead she lowered her gaze, smiling at his compliment.
He went back to kiss her again, giving her quick kissed down her arms, onto her stomach, to her legs, before he finally finished with one on her lips.
