A FACE IN THE WINDOW
"DOITSU!"
Germany sighed. Again?! Really?! Again?! He sat up and rubbed his head as the panicked Italian rushed into the bedroom. "There aren't any monsters in your closet!"
"N-Not that. I h-heard rustling i-in the bushes a-and I l-looked outside a-and th-there was a f-face!"
Germany sighed and pat the bed next to him. Italy sat down. "What did the face look like?"
"G-Glasses...p-purplish eyes..."
"America..." Germany mumbled, getting up and pulling on a jacket and pants. He walked out and checked the bushes but found nothing other than a small spider and some dead leaves. He walked back. "There was nothing there."
"He disappeared! He'll come back and kill me in my sleep!" Italy sobbed.
The German sighed. "Would you rather sleep in here?" Italy's tear filled eyes brightened.
They laid in the large bed together, Italy relaxed and perfectly content in the other man's muscular arms.
He's such a wimp. Germany thought as he watched the Italian snooze. He's an adorable wimp though. And I guess it's okay to be scared, it must have been very frightening.
He sighed again, then let himself fall into sleep's cradling arms.
