A/N: Hi, this is my first fanfiction, sorry if it's short! Thanks to aww844 for helping me find an idea for it. I deny any ownership to the characters in the story. Enjoy!

I feel myself come out of the haze of the cold medicine Katniss had all but shoved down my throat. I know I don't know much about plants, but I did use berries for fruit pies that we made in the bakery back at home, and I have never heard of sugar berries. Home….

No, I tell myself firmly, don't think about it. You are not going home; Katniss is, if I have to make it happen.

SNAP! My head snaps up in alarm. Is she back already? I drag myself to the entrance of the cave and move aside a rock so I can peer out.
There she is, lying unconscious in the mud, the rain pouring down on her. She has a gash on her forehead, a thin ribbon of red trailing down her face. My first instinct is anger for her deception, but then I see, wrapped around her wrist, a little orange package: the medicine she risked her life to get for me, to save my life. Yes, it was rash, yes, it was stupid, but I can't help but feel a rush of affection for her. Risking your life takes a lot of courage. And yet, even though I tried to reason with her, made her promise she wouldn't go, she went anyway.

I force myself to my knees, wincing and trying not to cry out. Then, slowly, I move the rocks camouflaging the entrance. I creep out painfully, until I reach Katniss. I manage to get a hold under her arms and drag her back into the cave. I rearrange the piece of plastic over the sleeping bag and pull her around until she is in the bag and zip her in. Then I wipe the gash as best I can, settle myself at the entrance of our cave, and wait for her to wake up.
