the moment he heard chaos outside he knew peter petigrew had betrayed
his trust. "lily take harry and go inside " said james potter as he
got ready to go outside , determined to protect his family. lily knew
not to argue , she scooped up the one year old in her arms and went
inside, her heart thumping wildly , she held harry close , determined
not to let go. then she heard a scream , the scream of the person she
knew too well , the scream of the person she loved. in an instant she
knew that james had left her. she heard the cold menacing laughter
from outside and gradually the heavy footsteps began coming closer and

threw her arms infront of it as if to protect harry . lily begged for
mercy infront of the cold hooded figure but all she got in response
