She's One of a Kind
In the house of Tony Stark down in the workshop Pepper Potts walks into one of the side rooms where Tony was standing in front of his desk with pieces of various projects all around with two armored suits behind him. The red haired P.A remained quiet not sure what she should say.
"I need you to go to my office and use my computer to hack into the main frame. Then download everything I need to know what going on and what needs fixing." Tony said in a serious tone.
Pepper watched as her boss slid a black small rectangular object in front of her eyes narrowed it looked like a normal flash drive but knowing Tony it was a majorly upgraded. A sigh came from the P.A lips as she stared at the small device.
From what she saw earlier till now this was it, this small black piece of tech would cause her to make a choice she was fearing about it.
Pepper's eyes traveled up from the desk to find her boss siting back in his chair she could see how serious about this and for her that was a first by now he would be joking or cracking a smiling but his face held so much seriousness masking his pain upon closer inspection she though she could see tears in his chocolate brown eyes. Rhodey was right her boss has changed.
"What will you do when I bring it back here? Pepper asked.
"They've been dealing under that table so I'm going to find my weapons and destroy them." Tony replied angrily.
"Tony...this is a bit much." Pepper said sounding overwhelmed
"Yes it is ,but it must be done." Tony replied.
A million worries and fears raced through her mind as her eyes wandered back down to the small flash drive in front of her. As Pepper reached to grab the device she could hear her mind screaming at her to stop to run away causing another headache but she finally had the flash drive in her hand. Pepper turned around and began walking to the door she stopped once she got there rubbing her head slightly. The red haired lass took a long deep breath and held her head high.
"Will that be all Mr. Stark?" Pepper asked.
Tony's face looked shocked but he quickly recovered.
"That will be all Ms. Potts" Tony replied.
Pepper nodded and with a smile she left the room. Tony sat back in his chair with a light smile on his face he would have to agree about what his co-workers said about Pepper she's one of a kind indeed.
