The caretaker at the factory enters a code into the security panel on a huge concrete wall. He is careful about his surroundings. The security cameras have been put on a loop, but will reset in just a couple of minutes. By then he needs to be out of there, either through the huge titanium door, or just away. If he is seen, then questions will need to be answered, and he knows just what the owners are like. If he thought his mission brief sounded bad, then he was wrong. It was worse than bad. But he was alright with this. Well, alright isn't the right word. More like it has happened enough times that you get used to it. 15 digits into the code, the caretaker hears a nose. A bucket falling over, a clanging sound. Then the sound of feet scuffling, like they are running from it. Knowing that there is only a few seconds left before the security camera resets, he bails out and gets out. He knows that in situations like this, it is better to stay safe, then to get caught. He will get another chance soon. Maybe next time will be his chance. Then, his mission will get serious. The caretaker makes his way out, and sees shadows, shadows that shouldn't be there. He sneaks his way around the back, and overhears the conversation of 3 young people dressed in black. He has what they need, what they are looking for. But he can't reveal himself now. He goes back the way he came, and waits. He make sure that the 3 young people in black see him, and see him leave a small, green usb on a box, as well as other objects out of his pockets. He has to make it look like he is the average joe, that he is looking for something. After pretending to find something, he puts everything back into the pockets in his overalls, and walks away, leaving the usb for the young people to pick up.
Oscar, Rose Carrie arrive in their underground HQ and are greeted by Frank, Stella and Stark.
"Right team, we have a mission" Frank says as the agents walk towards him.
Stark grunts in disappointment.
"What's wrong with him?" Carrie sarcastically asks
"I just don't believe that they are up to it." Stark say annoyingly to Frank and Stella.
"We can hear you!" Carrie boasts.
"Actually" Stella interrupts, " There has been a debate about this mission, if it is suitable for you."
"We are all trained agents, we can take anything." Rose responds
"Actually, you can't. As you 3 are still by law children, there are certain missions that by MI9 law, and all the other branches that prohibit you from doing certain missions. It's to protect you, that's all" Stella explains calmly.
"What do you mean protect, we have been in dangerous situations already." Oscar adds
"What Stella means, is that there are some mission that, well, how would you put it. Well, think off it this way, you wouldn't show a 5 year old and 18 horror film." Frank tries to explain.
"We're not scared if that's what you mean!" Carrie exclaims.
"Code 9 missions, and operations are only for certain agents, only Rubrum agents." Stella says informatively.
"And that's the problem, this mission is code 9, sort of." Franks adds
"Basically you 3 are to young and immature to take this and I think that even I would be better at it." Stark says like he is bored.
"Actually," Stella says, " None of use in this room are eligible, none of use are Rebrum."
Stark looks coldly at Stella and storms off.
"Right, now onto the mission" Frank Says
Oscar, Rose and Carrie arrive at a huge factory. They get in through a back fire exit that had been left open. The walk into a huge warehouse full of wooden boxes stack up like crates.
"Remember, don't touch what's inside the boxes" Oscar says quietly, "Its not part of the mission."
"Cause we're not Rubrum." Carrie mumbles rudely.
The 3 agent carry on into the warehouse, walking deeper into it. They walk up and down to assess the area and come to conclude that it is empty.
"We need to get into the control hub" Rose says, "That's where we will find the information. But the question is how?"
As Oscar moves forward, his foot hits a metal bucket. The bucket falls on its side and the sound echoes round the warehouse. They instantly duck and hide behind a row of boxes, out of site incase anyone comes to investigate. After waiting a couple of minutes, they silently discuss their next moves and discuss what they are looking for. Information. They need to somehow access information about the factory, what they produce, buy, where the money goes, how they employ, their customers. Any information on the factory and the business.
As they agree on a plan, the get up from their hiding spot and look up. They see a man in dirty overalls, scruffy dirty blond hair and a worn out baseball cap. The man seems to be mumbling to himself, and starts to pull everything out of his pockets. When he finds his keys, he puts the keys in his mouth, and everything else back into his pockets, however he forgets about one thing and leaves it behind. As soon as the man walks away and is out of site, Oscar, Rose and Carrie sneak forward, towards where the man was. They notice the small green thing that was left behind. Oscar picks it up.
"He left this behind. Looks like a memory pen."
He gives it to Rose as she takes out her spy pod. The memory pen is inserted, and the data is seen on the screen.
"Anything useful?" Oscar asks
Rose is in shock at what she is seeing.
"Everything is one here" She says as she hands the spy pod to Carrie and Oscar. "Everything"
"But why would he have all this, he didn't look like much?" Carrie asks
"I don't know, I don't think we should wait to find out." Rose answers
"Agreed, let's get out of here!"
Back at HQ the team debrief to Frank.
"Well, your sure got lucky with that one. Anyway, let's forget about it now, it's done!" Frank says harshly
"What was in those boxes?" Oscar asks Frank
"I actually don't know, they are code 9, I don't have access to that sort of information."
