It was a sunny day. The sun was shining bright. A girl with blond hair was walking though the streets, not really looking for something. Her name was Lucy Heartfilia. She had a dream : join the strongest guild in Fiore, Fairy Tail. The guild was known to be destructive, but she honestly didn't care. Fairy Tail had a lot of famous wizards : the guild master, of course, one of the strongest mages in Ishgar. The Thunder God, his grandson. He was known for being a jerk in the past, but he radically changed without explanations, with his team the Thunder God Tribe. There was the mysterious Jellal, and Gildarts, the guild's ace. They were the strongest men in Fairy Tail, even if the guild had more strong mages to offer. But Lucy wasn't really interested in men. She was admiring Fairy Tail's strongest women. They were three, and tied for the title : Mirajane Strauss, the Demon of Fairy Tail. Erza Scarlet, allias Titania. And finally, Natsumi Dragneel, the Salamander. People said that the three mages created a team named Team Shining Stars. Lucy would do anything to meet them.
She was lost in her thoughts when she rammed into a tall man with spiky blond hair. She fell on the ground, looking at the man who didn't even flinched from the contact.
« Hey, watch where you're going ! » said the man. Lucy gasped. She recognized him : Laxus. Laxus Drear, THE Thunder God.
« I-I'm sorry ! » she apologized, getting up. But in front of her, there was one of the strongest Fairy Tail's mage. She could try to get informations, even join the guild. « Could I invite you to lunch to forgive myself ? » the man hesitated, but accepted.
« Sure. » They went in a restaurant, sat to a table, and ordered food. They began eating, while Lucy asked questions.
« So, you're really the Thunder God ? » she asked, amazed.
« I think you already know. » he said with a smile. The girl nodded.
« What are you doing in a shitty town like Hargeon ? »
« Capturing some evil bastards. » he said with so much venom that Lucy was scared. However, it surprised the girl.
« It isn't the true reason, true ? » Laxus nodded and sighed.
« The leader of the bandits was called Bora the Prominence. She's a dirty slaver. To attract people in his trap, she stole a friend's nickname. » An accent was used on the word "friend". Even if Lucy heard it, she kept it quiet.
« Who is that friend ? She's famous ? » asked the girl with innocence.
« Mmmh... Her name is Natsumi. » he answered.
« NATSUMI ?!? N-Natsumi Dragneel, the Salamander ...!? »
« Yeah. »
« You're one of her friends ?! » she yelped. It made Laxus laugh.
« Everyone in Fairy Tail are Nat's friend. »
« W-What do you mean ? »
« Well, she's really friendly and caring. »
« W-Woaw... Ho, I had another questions : people said that you changed radically from being a jerk to someone absolutely respectable... How ? »
« Mmmh... It was due to a certain girl. »
« Who was it. »
« Natsumi, again. » This time, Lucy had a grin.
« You love her, don't you ? » Laxus smiled at her.
« Yup. The problem is that I'm not the only one. » it surprised the girl. She was about to ask, but the man stopped her.
« You'll see soon. So miss...? »
« Lucy. »
« Lucy, I might think that you wanted to join Fairy Tail. Am I right ? » Lucy blushed.
« M-Maybe... »
« Yes, or no ? »
« Y-Yeah ! » Laxus got up, and reached the door of the restaurant.
« Then we should go. »
« Wait, I have to pay ! » she payed quickly, and ran outside.
« So. How are we going to reach your guild ? » asked Lucy, excited.
« Take my arm. » he said with a smile. The gurl hesitated, but took it. They disappeared in a flash of lightning.

The two blond-haired mages reappeared far away.
« W-What was that ...? » asked Lucy, checking if her body was full, and if a part didn't disappear. It would be a shame. Laxus laughed.
« Lightning transportation, I'm not the Thunder God for nothing, you know ? But geez', it costs a lot of magic tho. At least, we reached Fairy Tail ! » Lucy lost interest for her body when she heard that sentence. She looked in front of her to see Fairy Tail's guild hall. It was huge. Laxus walked to the door, and stopped in front of it.
« Are you ready ? » he asked. The girl nodded.
Laxus pushed the door, Lucy behind him. And she had luck that he was the one to do it, because a flying table was coming their way. The Thunder mage sent a kick in it, and the table flew back into someone. Lucy was horrified : it was the war inside. People were fighting all over the hall.
« WOULD YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP ! » yelled Laxus. They all stopped fighting, looking at the blond-haired boy. Someone came from the crowd : a girl with white hair.
« Hey there Laxus, you're back ! »
« Sure Lisanna. Now, clean this mess before the girls arrive, because you know that you're gonna eat the dirt ! » yelled back the man. The mages paled, and cleaned everything.
« Come with me. » said Laxus to Lucy. She agreed and followed him to the bar, where an old man was sitting.
« Welcome back, Laxus. »
« Thanks, Gramps. Gramps, that's Lucy. She wants to join the guild. »
« Mmmmh, sure. I'm Master Makarov, Fairy Tail's guild master. Nice to meet you. » greeted the man to Lucy.
« Nice to meet you too. I'm Lucy, and I wanted to know if I could join the guild ! »
« Yeah, of course. Lisanna ! »
« On it, Master ! » the girl with white hear came back with a stamp.
« So, Lucy. Where do you want the stamp that will approve you as a member of the guild ? » she asked.
« On my hand. »
« What color ? »
« Pink, please. » Lisanna putted the stamp on Lucy's hand, and a Fairy Tail logo appeared.
« That's it ! Welcome in Fairy Tail ! »
« Thank you so much ! » Lucy turned to Laxus. « Look ! » she said.
« Perfect ! Welcome in your new famil-... »
« LIGHTNING FREAK ! »
Lucy and Laxus turned to the voice, only to see a man in pants walk toward them.
« Gray, your clothes. » said a woman.
« Not now, Cana. I'm dealing with something much more important. So, Laxus, is this girl your girlfriend ? » he had the biggest grin Lucy had ever seen in her life. She looked at Laxus, but he didn't seem happy.
« Laxus...? » she tried.
« Quiet, Lucy. I'm busy with that asshole. » The girl flinched. She looked at Makarov and Lisanna, who hid behind the bar. Lisanna made signs, and Lucy came next to her.
« What are they doing ? » whispered Lucy.
« That's a battle between two dragons. Watch and learn. » answered Makarov.
The two boys were standing in the hall. Lucy saw that the whole guild was now hiding behind things. "Are they gonna fight ?" Thought Lucy.
« You didn't answer me, Laxus. » said Gray. The blond boy was still standing in his place. The way he didn't speak just made the raven-haired boy more and more angry.
« Sorry, stripper. She's not my girlfriend. »
« Too bad, I was hoping I could have HER without you being around. »
« You know that it's not possible, Gray. »
« There's not enough space for two male dragons here Laxus. »
« I know it. »
« But do you know why ? »
« Of course I know. But do YOU know that we're not gonna be the only dragons around HER. Right ? » Lucy was really confused. She looked at Lisanna, who just made signs to look. « I'll explain later. » she whispered.
« Ho yeah, don't worry, I know. But if they dare be too close to HER, they're gonna face me. » answered Gray. They continued to look at each other. A blue aura began to spread around Gray's hands, while lightning appeared around Laxus' hands.
« This-This is going out of hands...! » said a member.
« Shut up. » said both Gray and Laxus. The member hid again, not wanting to feel their wrath. Suddenly, they began to breath. After some seconds, they threw attacks at each other. They had the same position, as they yelled.
« LIGHTNING DRAGON'S ROAR ! » yelled Laxus.
« ICE DRAGON'S ROAR ! » yelled Gray. The two attacks were struggling to know which was strongr. The blue beam and the yellow beam were fading away, and people began to show their heads. Both Gray and Laxus looked at each other, before saying at the same time :
« She's mine. »
Laxus turned away and climbed the stairs to the second floor. Gray just went back to his seat. Lucy tried to follow the blond-haired boy, but she was stopped by Makarov.
« Sorry, Lucy, but you can't go up there. The second floor is only for S-Class wizards. »
« But... »
« Sorry. You can't. » Lucy sighed.
« Then at least explain me what happened. » Lisanna began.
« Laxus and Gray are both using an old magic named Dragon Slaying Magic. It's a type of magic that can allow humans to kill dragons. The slayers have the same sensations as a true dragon. » it surprised Lucy.
« How did they get that type of magic ? »
« Laxus is an artificial dragon slayer. To save his life, Master put a Lightning Dragon Slayer Lacrima in him, allowing him to become "a dragon", and that saved his life. »
« So Gray nearly died too ? »
« Nah. Welp, yes, but not like you think. » Lucy turned herself in surprise to see... Well, Gray, standing just behind her.
« Sorry, my name's Gray Articks. I wanted to know if you could forgive me for being a jerk about you and Laxus. I'm quite stupid when we both are in the same room. » Lucy smiled.
« Don't worry, I understand. But could you explain what you just said before ? »
« Sure. When I was a little kid, my parents let me in the forest, because they didn't want me. It was snowing, so I had no chance of surviving. But a dragon found me, took me, and raised me. That's how I learned Ice Dragon Slaying Magic. » he answered. Lucy was shocked.
« A dragon has not been seen in ages now... »
« But he's telling the truth. » It was Lisanna.
« Incredible... » muttered Lucy.
« I know. By having this magic, my senses are really sharp, and when my emotions are too strong, I can't control them. » finished Gray.
« Welp, I hope we will become great friends ! » he said, leaving. He sat at Cana's table. Lucy sighed. She was only here for less than a hour, and yet things were going crazy.
« Don't worry. » said Makarov behind her. « That's Fairy Tail for you. »
« Could I ask you a question master ? »
« Sure. »
« They spoke about someone, or I'm crazy ? » the master laughed.
« They did, they spoke about our oldest female dragon slayer in the guild. We have 4 dragon slayers in the guild : Gray, Laxus, Wendy, that you'll meet soon, and Natsumi. »
« Wait, Natsumi is a dragon slayer ?! »
« Mmmh. But not a simple dragon slayer. Her dragon was Igneele, The Fire Dragon Queen. It makes Natsumi part of royalty. And royalty dragons don't have a single mate. »
« A mate ? »
« A mate is a dragon lover. You see, a normal dragon has just one mate in his whole life. But a dragon king/queen has many. Like a harem. Natsumi's part of that royalty. » Lucy blushed madly.
« So Gray and Laxus were fighting for... »
« Yeah, Natsumi. » finished Makarov. Lucy was shocked.
« But if their destiny is to be with Natsumi... They can learn to, like, share her. »
« Well, Lucy, it's not as simple as you think. First, Natsumi is really, REALLY dense. She doesn't understand love for the moment. Plus, she will have to chose an Alpha and a Beta to her "harem". They would be the dominant males. But she will probably only understand love when we'll already see a lot of her mates around her. But that's in their instinct : they're already fighting to know who will be the Alpha and the Beta. » Lucy nodded. It was hard to understand, but she did it. Yay. She looked around the guild. At least, she could start to make friends.
Two hours later :
Lucy met most of the member. She already made friends, like Cana, Gray, Freed, Bickslow, Evergreen, Lisanna... They were all kind, so nothing bad happened. Well, except for Wakaba and Macao, who got Lucy-Kicked for being pervs. She sighed. She looked again at Gray, who was drinking a beer, and at Laxus, who was speaking with his team. Suddenly, they both started to sniff the air. Soon, a grin appeared on their face and they knew what was going. And Loke, one of the members Lucy met, came in the guild, dying from exhaustion.
« What's up, Loke ? » asked Elfman.
« They're... They're... »
« Speak, man ! »
« Team Shining Stars ! They returned ! » the whole guild was silent. They became pale, while Gray and Laxus had smiles on their faces.
