Cynophobia

~Well here it is! My fist PruCan, I'm writing this for my awesome England. I had to move this up to number one on my priority list when I found out no one had ever written for her before! Shocker since she's so awesome. This is complete fluff, but here you go.~

"Gil I don't want to do this," Mathew whimpered trying to pull away from his boyfriend.

"Calm down Birdie it'll be ok the awesome me wouldn't let you get hurt," Gilbert said looking at the blonde while dragging him to the dog kennels. Mathew's eyes widened in fear and he clung to Gilbert.

"Gil I don't want to do this I really really don't," he whimpered as he was dragged even closer to the kennels, Gilbert stopped and faced the blonde.

"Mattie have I ever let you get hurt? I love you and I'm trying to help you. You can't go around your entire life being afraid of dogs," he said seriously.

"No but…I can't…" Gilbert sighed at this statement.

"Mattie they're West's dogs they're well trained and won't hurt you…trust me please?" He put his arms around the small blonde.

"F-fine…but stay with me ok," Mathew said curling into him. Gilbert smiled taking him into the kennels. Mathew's eyes widen as they walked in and heard the dogs barking. Gilbert held him tightly as he tried to bolt.

"Shh it's ok Birdie they're locked you they can't hurt you." Mathew shook his head still trying to run out. Gilbert kissed him causing him to still. "Birdie I'm not going to make you mess with the big ones at first just come see the puppies." Mathew sighed relaxing.

"Fine…" He followed Gilbert into the part of the kennels that housed the puppies and his breath caught. "Oh Gil…they're so cute," he said looking at the pups in the cage. They were nursing from their mother their eyes weren't even opened yet. Gilbert smiled picking one up and putting it in Mathew's hands.

"See Birdie it's not so scary is it?" Mathew shook his head petting the pup.

"No but I have a question…"

"What is it," Gilbert asked holding the blonde close.

"Do you think your brother will let me have one when they're older?"
