¤Memories¤ Memories

All characters are owned by J.K. Rowling, but I own the plot! My friend, Katie Stoughton, wrote this song! Where it says"You are like the big sister..." that might sound strange, but it's supposed to sound like Harry thinks of Hermione as a big sister, because she was always there for him...DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING!

Memories, Sweet memories,
That is all I've got.
No pictures,
No letters,
Nothing but my thoughts.

Harry began to cry softly. "Ron, why did she have to go?" He asked his best friend Ron. "I don't know." Ron said sadly, wiping away a few tears.

Hermione was killed. And by, none other than Voldemort. Trying to save Harry's life, she lost her own. "It's all my fault!" Harry cried. "No it's not!" Ron would tell him.

Wishing you were back,
Always there for me.
Pushing me and guiding me,
Always to succeed.

Harry began to remember all the times Hermione had been there for him. Helping him with his homework, teaching him the spells he never understood.

Memories, Sweet memories,
That is all I've got.
No pictures,
No letters,
Nothing but my thoughts.

"Harry, it's OK, but the funeral is going to start soon, come on, let's go." Harry nodded sadly as he picked up his shoes and began to put them on.

You were like the big sister,
That I never had.
Oh, with you around,
Life was never sad.

As people passed by Hermione's coffin, Harry stayed in the back. He wanted to be the last person to see her.

Yes, Memories, Sweet memories,
That is all I've got.
No pictures,
No letters,
Nothing but my thoughts.

Harry wiped a tear away from his eye as he approached Hermione's coffin. "Hey Herm." he whispered. "I know you can't hear me, and you can't see me, but I just wanted to say that you'll always be in my heart. I know I should've been the one that died, not you, why did you have to jump out in front of me like that?" He asked, knowing she would never answer him. "I wish you were still here." He paused. "You're like a sister to me Herm, and...and I love you."

Now you're gone forever,
With no real reason why.
Why it all happened,
Why you had to die.
