summary: it's easy to ruin lives with your prejudice villain AU

warnings: err, violence, character death, mentions of suicide but not too graphic, bullying, bad writing...

IMPORTANT: this fic is probs gonna confuse the shit out of you-just PM if it does

there is something wrong with the idea of being normal -

which everyone detests.

there are different forms of being 'normal'-a matter of perspective is important to understand why of course

why people hatehatehate

(only 20% of the world is quirkless and thousands die every year from suicide)

there is something not okay with you-for not having a quirk-even if it's the most simple thing such as cracking eggs perfectly-

not okay... unnatural.

(he just happens to have a friend who...

who gave up)

the same could be said about quirks:

fire is cool, fire is amazing and can do anything and is the best quirk ever, I wanna be like Endeavour-

stupid

Unbelievably Stupid.

because fire can burn, burn, burn and kill people in an instant and curl around buildings and make ash and even if a single piece grazes you it will spread and spread

and never let go

but here is Endeavour, number 2 hero and using fire

what's up with that?

(the man had to fight, had to show them he had control, that he was better then their worries, better then their criticisms,

and so do other people)

It's such a Stupid Thing but

(this is the world he lives in and

maybe it's not as perfect as it seems

without All Might blinding him)

there is always a bad side and a good side

and there will always be people who are upset and don't get their way when majority rules

but it's only worth noticing when things start getting violent

(and down, down

they shove him, tell him to can it 'cause

they can

and no one no one TEACHERS no one no one stops them

so what's wrong with it?)

Why do heroes exist? Because villains do and the world just hypes it up even more

so then

why do villains exist?

what makes people risk their life for their voice to be heard

or their violence to reach newspapers

why why why

so many reasons why

and it's all a matter of perspective until it gets personal

until one side comes to take you

hero vs villain

(it's easier when you're bias)

there are facts laid out on the table, spiralling into his heart and imprinting into his brain

(so so so easy to question things)

it's hard to separate from a side

(until it's easier to stay put)

It's A Matter Of Perspective

(but some people can't let go...)

some times it's just Stupidity.

so, quirks,

disadvantages, criticism-people will always be so

so judgemental

until the other side pulls him in

(yes he is bias-so what does this mean?

is he too weak or

are they too strong or

(they really would toss him out to the villains wouldn't they?

his classmates that is)

people love to point fingers-like being villains and heroes is a game

(there are reasons why people become villains, so, so many)

it's not hard to push

push hard and set him on fire

let them the villains find him and

he doesn't want this, never has, he wants to be a hero

wants to be like All Might

it's not so hard at all

when there are rumours and

words become common knowledge

facts that are seared into his existence

what's wrong with his quirk?

(he knows but-)

until everyone knows and when they come to collect him

people were rIgHt all along

(they who hate villainous quirks and are 'doing society a favour'

by throwing him into villain clutches)

he's a kid

(make no excuses, the words are laid bare for him

and maaaaybe he agrees a little

but he's just a-

everyone's goading him on and on but-

he doesn't want-

go that far-)

(classmates who quietly wonder

and question and

watch)

they take and take and take and leave

(like villains do and maybe

maybe he doesn't leave that willingly)

it's only parents who come

teary eyed

that forces you to stop for a moment

(classmates who quietly wonder-

come to the conclusion that

it's too late anyway...)

they tell him he can do better

(that he's amazing, powerful and no one can say otherwise)

society hates people like him-them

join us

(he's just a kid)

and you (classmate) keep moving on because

he takes the hand

(only because-

because they taught him that he can)

because he has to

it's okay

everything will be okay

the heroes will take care of the villain

the villain who admires All Might

Hitoshi Shinso is missing at 13 years of age and this isn't so important with murderers existing but-

"Brainwashing? Ugh, he's dangerous," the Police Officer murmurs to his companion, his voice just shy away from being heard by the boy's parents when the police came for more information about the kid, heading straight to the parents household.

The companion officer nods, frowning at the school photo given- various band-aids adorning the boy's arms and face, lips pressed together in obvious anger and some form of... gum (?) on his hair that was obviously some accident.

(they're bias of quirks and

he's missing

so of course they would associate him with villains

they are right but still

heart throbs)

"Well," the Police Officer frowns, turning to the parents. "We can't help but assume the worst and put him down as a suspected villain, especially with the interviews done at his school that inform us of the amount of violence he's been participating in and the misuse of his quirk-"

The parents burst into tears and cry and wail because their son is a villain-

and the Police Officers exchange looks and add possible psychopathic tendencies to the list because what kind of bastard makes their mother cry like that.

and a few years later Eraserhead will patrol the streets and find Shinso who's throat is slashed and sluggishly bleeding

deft fingers combing through a cat's fur whispering quietly,

"i'm okay, i'm okay, i'm okay, i'll get through this,"

and his quirk active

which Eraserhead-in his shock-accidentally erases because

(because when do you ever see a teen brainwashing himself to try and not cry and try and not shake

even though his face is coming closer to crumpling every moment)

Shinso curls up next to the cat, shaking so hard and jerking, the cat leaves

Shinso's eyes flicker to Eraserhead and smiles a little before his head drops to the floor

-with a thud

red, soaking a worn letter, Eraserhead barley catches sight of it, I admire you, please let me meet up with you

death sentence becoming one with the blood

that spreads

and Aizawa closes the teens eyes and mourns)

Tsukauchi goes over the case of Hitoshi Shinso himself, interviewing former students and he feels the blood in his veins boil with the ping in his head that says

lies, lies, lies

so he asks different questions and takes people into custody and chargers them because

inside Hitoshi Shinso's room, behind the door there is an All Might poster and

it's worn but here is a picture a few weeks before he-

the Hitoshi family are gone

(what does it mean to be a hero?)

(only an extended family member who hopes to sell the house is found

and that family is not good enough because the Police Force want to say sorry and my condolences-

and that will never be enough

for the kid they could've saved

who's throat is slashed at sixteen

and diary full of hero costumes

at thirteen and

dead)

there are no graves for a villain

especially one who's name is everywhere

(what does it mean to be a hero?)

'Cause Hitoshi Shinso got what he wanted in the end and

some speculate he's more of a vigilante than a villain but

'villainous' quirks exist and once somebody sees the grave

there will be nothing left

there will be nothing

so,

(because sometimes to people they are the same thing,

as

they have the same goals

for society but

only the good ones do

the good villains)

"Ashes," All Might suggests. "Ashes and then let him go."

There's Present Mic who presses a hand on Aizawa's shoulder, but not to hard just reassurance. "I think it's a great idea."

and there's Aizawa with blood-shot eyes who scrunches up the picture of little Shinso in Eraserhead gear from the store and takes a deep breath."Yeah... yeah, I'll do that."

(Did you know,

sometimes being a villain

is the same thing as being a

hero).
