Idea Book- 1st Impressions

10/6/10

"I am sorry chère. I gave you the wrong impression. Please let's start over." he pleaded in his southern Cajon accent. Jubes raised her pierced eyebrow at him. Here she is alone in the classroom with the new kid. No doubt some rumor will start.

"Alright. You can have second chance." she said resolutely.

His face now had relieved painted over it.

He gave a soft laugh, and shook his dark locks.

"Hello, I am Remy. What's your name chier?" he asked though his dark shades.

"It's Jubilee but everyone calls me Jubes." she said as she gathered her books, and papers. He leaned on the desk next to hers.

"So, chère what are you doing tonight?" he asked as she got up.

"Hm. I'll be hanging out with a friend, and you can't join." she slapped out as she began to leave the classroom. Remy quickly trailed after her. "Why not?" he asked.

"Because I have waited for this night forever." Jubes huffed as she walked down the empty wall.

"Why?" Remy questioned trailing after the yellow jacket wearing girl.

"Because I never get to see this person." Jubes said running her ringed fingers though her short spiked black hair.

"Why?" Remy pressed on as they walked into the main hall.

"Because I go to this school and he doesn't." Jubes said a she pushed the glass doors open.

"Well who is this friend?" Remy asked quite offended at this unknown person.

They both stepped out into the fresh air, a huge bike roar silenced Jubes from saying anything. Remy saw a black motorcycle with a person on top of it with a black helmet.

He saw that Jubes broke into a huge smile. A sliver helmet was tossed towards her.

She caught magically, trusted it over her head, and turned to Remy.

"Him." She hopped onto the back of the bike.

The bike then left, leaving Remy in the dust.

"Damn who the heck was that?" he shouted.

"That was Jubes leaving with her let's say father figure." A voice answered for Remy. Remy turned around and saw a blonde head boy lying on the grass.

"Do I know you?" Remy asked a little startled.

"Yes and no. I am in your English class. Name is Bobby Drake. And you are the new kid." he said standing up.

"Yes. You said that was Jubes father figure?" Remy asked confused at the other teen. "Yup. I am Kitty's boyfriend, and she is friends with Jubes. So I know, and I am not just pulling your leg."

"So why is she so close to him?" Remy asked as he leaned against a tree.

Bobby stretched his arms, "Because Jubes was in the foster system. You know what that is right?" Bobby said making sure.

Remy nodded, "Yes it's a terrible thing."

"Yeah, while Jubes parents sent her there. They just didn't want to rise her anymore. Therefore, that guy pulled her out. Now since he is a guy, and doesn't know one thing about raising a girl. Jube lives on weekdays with Kitty. Then on weekends, that guy picks her up. Oh yeah should mention that that guy is Kitty's uncle." Bobby said prideful with his knowledge. "Ah…is that why she hates people?" Remy asked.

"Ha-ha, yeah guess so. Jubes isn't the touchy person.

So don't come on strong lover boy." Bobby laughed.

"What?" Remy asked losing his balance against the tree.

"Dude I saw how you were looking at Jubes. Not bad my man. You're the first guy she didn't punch upon first meeting." Bobby said as the sun shinned over both boys.
