The Defenders of The Light

*A/N okay this is my new series. I just wasn't feeling Hog. Guard anymore. Thanks to all who reviewed that story. I hope you will like this just as much. This is a lot darker. I just didn't think the real story's had a happy-go-lucky feel. I own zip.

Albus Dumbledor, the Headmaster of Hogwarts sat in his study reading a diary recently found in one of the unused classrooms. He continued to turn pages silently until he came across a prophecy.
"Ah, Here is what I've been looking for." He said softly to no one. It said


There will be a time of great darkness,
Where an Evil greater than all shall rule by fear


But there will be a beacon of hope
In the form of a child who shall survive Salazar's curse
He shall be the leader when the Shadow rises again


But this time he mustn't fight alone
He will be joined by seven others,


The first will be the spiritual leader,
Strong in Magic and faith
They must combine forces or the Final Battle will be lost.


The second shall be the cleverest witch of the age,
Not knowing her true ancestry until the prophecy must be fulfilled, She must make a choose that will affect two lives forever,
Showing one the path,
And opening another's heart


The third will be a brilliant military strategist,
He will be shown the way by an enemy who is actually a friend.

The next will have a caring heart to all
Falling for the unloved Dragon
Forever ending an epic feud


The next will be a witch who's best friend was the first to die She will find her true love in the one who loved her all along


The talented wizard of the gloryless house will make himself shown
He shall be tall strong and forever afraid of snakes


The next will be a wizard who never knew love,
One who shall turn from the dark path
And find love in Virginia



Dumbledore then sighed deeply, wrote a leter to the Wesley's, droped something in and sealed it, he then sent it on an express owl.
