Words could not describe the fear in her heart.
Calliope was a human in the world of Elves. She seemed so tiny compared to all these beautiful, elegant, and tall beings. Her eyes danced around the hall, seeing all the embellishments in the throne, and the King. His crown had leaves intertwined with the twigs that created the piece. His eyes were piercing blue and his hair was so blond, it was almost white.

When words left his mouth, her heart stopped.
"I will not ask you again, how did you find our kingdom? All elven domains are protected so humans could never find us on their own." Tension was in the air and Calliope came to her senses. She was overtaken by the beauty of it all that she forgot she was captured.

"I–I don't know. I was walking around the woods, trying to find some kindling for my fireplace and I saw a deer. I had never seen one alive so I decided to follow it. It lead me to this path and I followed it. I didn't come looking for your kingdom, I didn't even know there were Elves in this part of the region. I live by the sea for crying out loud. But I found you. I haven't done anything wrong, so release me. And I won't return."

"Calliope, is it? I'm afraid it's not that easy. You now know where we are, how can I trust that you won't come back with more humans?"

The way he said her name, shook her from the inside.
But she nodded her head when he asked her name, "If I wasn't following the deer I would have never found this place at all." her nerves were starting to get the best of her, she was thinking of the fact she may never see her family again., "I promise, I will never come back, I will never think of you again. Just. Let. Me. Go. Please."
She hated having to plead but it was for her life, while she was conversing with the King a messenger ran in, he whispered in the King's ear. And without much hesitation he waved his hand to have Calliope pulled to the side.

"What is going on? Let me go! Please." She protested, but in came a company of dwarves. This is the first time she had seen this many non-human beings. The King seemed to be more focused on them then her. Maybe she could sneak out, as she was looking over her captors she felt eyes on her. It was a hobbit? Among dwarves? That's odd. From the stories she was told as a chid those two never came together.

Calliope couldn't dwell on that now, now she was trying to plan her escape. But before she made her break the Elven King sentenced them all to the dungeons. She struggled between the two guards but to no avail. She was thrown into a cell with one of the dwarves.

"Why are you here, human?" The dark haired Dwarf asked.
"I could ask you the same thing, Dwarf." She snarkly replied. "I arrived here on accident, and now I am stuck. I don't know if I will ever be able to go home, my family must be worried sick..." Her throat began to sting and her body got hot, her eyes filled up with tears but she would not let anyone see her cry. She will get out of this place. And return home.
