Coming Home
It was my first day of school. Well, it was my seventh school that month, my seventh first day of school. One day is all it took for me to get kicked out. It was P.E, I hated running; and though I tried to fit in, the smallest things made me stand out.
"'Kay, I'll be timing each student on their 400 meter dash, who so ever has the lowest time gets free spot on the track team".
Oddly enough, I never liked school, only because I never had any friends, and as much as I hated running I'd do anything to make some, I figured the track team would be the best opportunity. Well, I ran, it wasn't as hard as the gym teacher had said, probably because he was about 45 and had a beer belly bigger than an excursive ball.
"Ten point six, Ella you even beat the boys, seems like you have a spot on the track team".
I was so happy, maybe my Foster parents were right for the first time. Things were going to be different.
"She cheated!" someone yelled.
"That isn't fair; she's some kind of witch!"
"Hold on, hold on, Ella did use your abilities?"
"No", I replied.
"How can you believe her, that stupid witch is lying!" the students yelled.
"If you let her on the team, I'm not joining. I don't want any cheating witch on the same team as me", said another student.
"Yeah", the other agreed.
"I'm sorry Ella, seems like you can't be on team. You understand don't you?"
I understood. When I didn't use my powers, I was wrong. When I did, I was wrong. I could never be right. Only if these stupid humans weren't jealous little parasites, than my life would be normal.
I was so angry, not only did I bend all the stop signs in the neighborhood, I also created a plan… to make my life much easier. That night I left my foster home, and went to each and every house of all the kids who bullied me. And I drowned them. They couldn't put me in a jail cell because my abilities where able to bend bars… so that's why I'm in this hell whole. My name is Ella and I'm telekinetic.
