"Anna, wake up lazy, we have a case." Anna's green eyes slowly opened and she hazily stared at her older brother.
"Seriously?I feel like I just went to sleep." She said, stretching before sitting up in the bed her and her twin shared. Sam smiled down at her quickly before gathering his stuff and heading towards the car. Dean made his way forward and ruffled her hair.
"Come on Shortie." He said, herding her out of bed. She sent him a small glare before gathering her stuff and heading to the bathroom. Once inside she changed into a Walking Dead T-shirt and some fleece pajama pants. She threw her dirty clothes in another bag and opened the door. Dean was waiting for her and grabbed her stuff.
Anna sniffed before pulling her chocolate brown hair up into a ponytail. She sighed when her fingers brushed against scars and hastily pulled it back down. Her hands ran up and down her arms, feeling the scars that lined her skin. "Stop it Anna." Dean said, looking at her in the mirror.
"Sorry Dean, i can't help it sometimes." She said, her eyes looking past Dean. Sam turned and gave her a small smile.
"Just go to sleep. We'll wake you when we get there." He said. Anna sent him that same small smile before slowly laying down in the back seat, using her arm as a pillow. When her eyes closed Sam and Dean glanced at each other. "At least her nightmares are getting better." Was all Sam could offer. Dean's face hardened and his hands tightened on the steering wheel.
"She shouldn't be having nightmares in the first place Sammy." He said. Anna was listening to everything her brothers were saying. "I'm just glad we found her in time." Anna's head was filled with violent memories and thoughts. When they had first started their search for their father, Sam and Dean hadn't gone back to the hotel room Dean was renting, leaving Anna by herself.
It was then she was attacked, taken captive by the very thing her father was hunting. the scars are because , the yellow-eyed demon tortured her for information. Where her father was, where her brothers were. When she couldn't answer the questions, Yellow-eyes then just tortured her for fun, to pass the time.
It took Sam and Dean three weeks to find Anna, and by then she was damaged. She would have night terrors, anxiety attacks, she would randomly start spouting Latin or any ancient language. Her body took weeks to heal, but they were just starting to heal her emotions, and to heal her mind.
She still had nightmares, but now took some medicine for them, and slept next to her brothers. Ever since they found here, the brothers were so much more protective. She wasn't allowed near boy, she couldn't really ever leave their sight, and she was never allowed to hunt with them. She was with Sam and doing research. But that was okay with her, she was good at research.
In the backseat Anna yawned and curled up even more. Dean slowed the car down and stopped it, going to the back and opening the trunk. He grabbed her red, white and green polka-dotted blanket and layed it over her, also grabbing a small pillow and resting her head on it.
"Thank you." Anna whispered. Dean smiled and patted her leg, before getting back in the car and driving off, heading to Crawford Hall.
