Just a little something I came with and it would not leave my brain until I had written it. It's all diaolog, but once you read it, you'll get an idea of what they are talking about. Maybe. I had wanted to end it differently, but I rather liked how open ended it was left. Perhaps, if I feel like it, I might add a second part to it.
Scene: I planned it to be just before they fight Sin. Auron stands just outside of the bridge and Rikku comes asking for a favour from him.
"Please, Auron? Just once?"
"No."
"I bet Wakka would do it for me."
"Then why don't you ask him?"
"Because I don't want him to do it."
"Then why even mention him?"
"It was a point, Auron."
"And a bad one at that."
"Hey! Don't turn away from me!" "That's better. Now give me one good reason why you won't do it."
"I don't know how."
"That's a lie and you know it. You can do anything if you try."
"No."
"Fine then. I'll just ask Tidus."
"No you won't."
"Watch me." "Hey, let go!"
"He is with Yuna now. Leave him be." "Did you, just huff at me?"
"Yes I did. And I'll do it again. See, huff, huff."
"Rikku, now you're being childish."
"You're right. I'm sorry. It's just that we don't have a lot of time left. I just want one last lesson before we fight Sin. Who knows if we will all live or not?" "What was that for?"
"What was what for?"
"You 'hmphed'."
"Maybe."
"Auron! Ok, fine then. How about this? I promise not to say anything to anybody if you do it."
"Can I trust you?"
"Hey, you know you can! You're the one who let me join even though I never said I was Al Bhed. I kept that secret."
"Now, don't you go all silent on me again. Just because I'm right. Hey, where you going?"
"To give you your lesson. Unless you want me to teach you on the bridge." "Didn't think so."
"Thank you so much, Auron. I'll make it up to you, I promise!"
