Title: I wish
Rating: PG
Warnings: Slash meaning malexmale love
Summary: I stop dead in my tracks when I see a familiar figure at the other side of the road. Looking thoroughly at you I notice your piercing eyes upon me. Not daring to blink, in case you would be gone once I opened my eyes again, I stand completely still, not daring to believe what I am seeing.
A/N: Just a short piece I came up with recently. Enjoy!

David's Point of view
I look around in the hopes of finding you. I haven't seen you for a long time now and I really wished you could have been here. The people crowd around me and it feels like the space is too small for all of us to contain.
I take a sip from my drink and close my eyes as I feel it burn my throat slightly, but I barely register it. My mind goes back to the last time we were together and I still regret for leaving you there. I never forgave myself for doing that to you. Hopefully I can one day say to you how sorry I am.
I shift in the dark gray suit I was wearing for the occasion. You never understood why I wore them, but it made me feel normal for a change. Just like walking was for you. Apparently those suits make me feel human again.
I sigh and wish I could just be around you once more. I tried all the places we had ever been together already, but I never found as much as a clue on where you were. I knew you weren't dead, you cleared your last lair before leaving for a new one.
I watch around once more, scanning to see if I saw your familiar form. It was a foolish act, even if you would want to meet me, you would never risk going to a place so full of people. People who could be a possible tread to you. I smile slightly as I think back of how careful you used to be an how right you were in the end.
I take another sip from my drink, before I decide to empty it completely. My eyes start to tear slightly as the alcohol burns my insides. A woman smiled at me knowingly and tried to come closer to me. I barely pay attention to her or her actions. Ever since I met you I never really was interested in that kind of women anymore.
I am about to put my glass down next to the other four I've already emptied when I feel a sudden movement in the air. My thought allow me to think it is you, Jumping somewhere close to me. When I look up I see the door open and a couple pressing themselves into the already too crowded room.
I give up on waiting for you and decide to go home. Slowly I made my way to the door, the cold wind whipping instantly in my face. I narrow my eyes and pull my jacket even closer around me. I stand on the subway to wait a taxi, for a moment forgetting I could Jump myself back to my apartment.
I stop dead in my tracks when I see a familiar figure at the other side of the road. Looking thoroughly at you I notice your piercing eyes upon me. Not daring to blink, in case you would be gone once I opened my eyes again, I stand completely still, not daring to believe what I am seeing.
I smile when you slowly makes your way over towards me, not once looking to see if a car could hit you. Only inches away from me you stop. I feel your hot breath upon me, your scent reaches my nostrils and allows me to remember of the days back then.
I scowl at you and I hear myself ask you angrily what took you so long, but I never really mean those things I say to you. All I wanted to do right now was hold you close to never let you go.
I watch as you lean closer and completely ignore my questions, then feeling you soft but at the same time strong lips upon mine, kissing me forcefully and silencing me at one. Eagerly I respond, grateful to have my wishes been heard.
